Be careful with this restaurant they are a scam! I placed a order and when I went to pick it up there was something wrong with their card machine. My food that I ordered was 27 dollars the woman ran my card for 40 dollars! When I said no this is not right the woman laughed and said my fault. She then handed me a receipt with the 40 dollars on it and said now I need to run your card again. I told her no she will not run my card again when she already just over charged me! She already charged my card 40 dollars then insisted she needed to charge my card for the 27 dollars that was my meal. So my meal that should have only been 27 dollars she was trying to take 67 dollars total out of my account. I’m not sure who all they have done this to, she was very rude and did not try to make anything right at all! Be careful when you pay at this place they are absolutely ripping people off I’m just glad I caught it. They have a child working at...
Read moreOur Sweet and Sour chicken was raw in the center. White rice is undercooked or old( hard and sticky). It was our first time ordering from there. When I called to let them know, I was was treated poorly. The lady said" we have no customers complaining about this." " All our customers say our Sweet and Sour Chicken is best." "All our customer like the rice, we always cook same way". She treated me like I don't know what undercooked chicken & Rice looks like. I've worked with chefs at University of Michigan executive residence and I'm fully aware of food safety. The rice was either undercooked or old. The texture is hard and very sticky. Chicken was raw in the center. She told me I can come in tomorrow and ask for a refund. 15 miles round trip to be treated like that again= not worth the headache. She can keep the $ and I won't waste my time or money again at their restaurant. Campbell's soup at home would have been a much...
Read moreWe’re in the area of Taylorsville for the summer. Just my wife and I. We decided to give China One a try for takeaway. We’ve been from Los Angeles to Bar Harbor and tasted our share of Chinese cuisine.
From their large menu we ordered chicken cashew, egg drop soup, pork fried rice, edamame and pork egg rolls. The food was fresh and clean. The chicken cashew had generous portions of meat, carrots, celery and sauce. The soup broth was thinner in a good way, not like some that come out thick. No corn, onion or peas. Just unadulterated broth and egg. Really clean egg taste. The food was cooked in vegetable oil without being oily. One caveat: steamed white rice does not come with the entrée. You must order it off the menu (sm$4/lg$5.25).
We recommend China One for authentic Chinese food; price inline with quality; its extensive menu; use of 100% vegetable oil and a Grade A sanitary inspection certificate. 4.5...
