Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Taylorsville

This is totally my opinion, of course... If you're eating here it's probably because of convenience. Why wouldn't you eat at one of the other pizza joints in tville? I'd have to say with the 3 pizza joints in town, this one is in last place. Some might argue with me that it's second place... Others (who probably have no idea what real pizza tastes like) would say this place is first. Come on.. really?

The dough has to be the most off putting component of this pizza. It's like Subway shared their secret bread recipe with them... And the secret ingredient is... Yoga matts! Yay!

This review so far is not really site specific. So let me get to that.

For a Papa John's they could do better. Every time I've been in there it's looked fairly messy. Actually, much messier in the front than the back which is good I guess. The work stations looked pretty clean and I can appreciate that. When I've been there to pick up my pizza, on several occasions the crew almost seemed confused that they have to interface with someone in real life. I had to stand there and wait (with no other customers in the store) for like 10 minutes before someone asks me what I'm waiting for... Hmm..

Like most of the places in the area much of the staff is high-schoolers. I don't have a problem with that but I'm not sure if there's always an adult on site at all times.. don't seem like it. Maybe I'm imagining that part. Like I said in the beginning, go for one of the other two places in town first.

This is my last resort...

WILL NEVER BE BACK. AFTER 3 TIMES WITHIN THE LAST 2 MONTHS OUR ORDERS WERE WRONG. THIS LAST TIME WE WERE TO GET 2 PIZZAS AND ONE WAS TO BE FREE BECAUSE IT WAS WRONG THE PREVIOUS TIME. WHEN WE GOT TO LOCATION TO REORDER THEY HAD NO RECORD OF WHAT WE WERE TOLD ABOUT OUR ORDER. SO THEY WENT ON AND SAID THEY WOULD GIVE 1 PIZZA TO REPLACE AND I ALSO ORDERED 1 MORE. AFTER WAITING 35 MINUTES THEY ONLY FIXED 1 PIZZA AND DIDN'T FIX THE 2ND ONE. SO I HAD TO WAIT ANOTHER 20 MINUTES FOR MY 2ND PIZZA AND THEN AFTER WAITING THIS PIZZA WAS ALSO WRONG. THE GUY AT COUNTER SAID OH, MY BAD, I REMEMBER NOW.... AT THIS TIME HE SAID SO WHAT DO U WANT US TO DO. I HAD BEEN HERE OVER 1 HR AND MY OTHER PIZZA IS COLD AND THIS ONE IS WRONG..... ITS PLAIN TO SEE THAT THIS LOCATION IS A JOKE AND THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE SERVICE THEY GIVE OR IF ORDERS ARE CORRECT. I JUST WAS SO FRUSTRATED THAT I WALKED OUT. AND WHAT'S SO BAD THE MANAGER (YOUNG GUY) WAS THE ONE WHO TOOK MY ORDER.... WILL NEVER GO BACK ......HOME TOWN PIZZA HAS MY...

Placed an order, and was told 45 mins for delivery. At the 1 hr mark, I called to ask about the order .....and was told that the order was ready 15 mins after it was placed.....and was en-route. The order arrived just after I called to inquire, but the driver had no idea what to do if I was unhappy with a delivery which was not to my standard. I asked to check the order, which I opened both pie boxes, and the cheese had already hardened yet the box was still slightly warm. With hungry kids, I opted to keep the pizza's as we couldn't wait for another order, particularly if it would be another hour. Additionally, when the order arrived, it was incorrect. I have used this location prior to this order, with no issues, and was disappointed on...
