GO HERE RIGHT NOW! I will forever love this place. They took care of me when I showed up with my pup in the rain, setting me up in front under the patio and the food was fantastic. The best way to wrap up a hike. Pick this place for a meal and don't think twice! And when I mentioned this place at Green River canoeing, they were over the moon about this place as well. Eat here and be happy. PS to the fine folks at Esters: the boy + his pup ended up in Dayton for our halfway trip to run in the fields at the birth place of aviation. Thank you for everything.

Had dinner at this place during our visit to mammoth cave national park. It was a laid back, casual, country style, farm- to- table, rustic, family owned place. The environment inside was very homey. The owners were very sweet and friendly. They had a few options and even offered us to sample before we could actually order! The food was fresh, hot, especially the meatloaf. They had a big family inside the dining room where everybody was having dinner. They even suggested us great cave trips that we could take the next day. The dinner was wonderful.

I got food to go I wish my wife could have joined me there it’s and amazingly welcoming place, with live music no less! (The music itself was worth the trip) there was a glitch in the kitchen that night so food took longer than I expected but that’s why I was able to enjoy the gentleman singing. The food is all home made and very well prepared. We ate too much, and then the desserts. If you happen to be in the area check this place out!

We liked the food at this establishment and everyone was friendly to us while we were there. Upon making arrangements to have an event catered, the owner assured us he could do it but he'd have to look into costs and get back to us with an estimate. We have called and left messages with no return call and certainly didn't expect it to take up to three weeks for someone to get back to us with pricing details on a time sensitive event. A phone call just to let us know that it wasn't possible would've been appreciated. I would've easily given five stars if this issue had been handled...
