The worst Mexican food I have ever had in my mouth, and I’ve had bad tasting Mexican food several times in my life. Shrimp was horrific. The beans were almost as bad as the beans I made when I was 18, which no one would eat. The rice tasted a lot plastic, probably was.

On the other hand, the service was way above average, borderline outstanding. The waitress has the best, most pleasant personality I have seen in a decade. Did not catch your name, but she told us her name and that she was 18 years old, had glasses and was pretty short. The only reason she told me her age was because I asked her if she was Olo to be working. She was so short. Wonderful person. She almost saved the experience. Was redirected on my journey back from New Braunfels to Ft Worth. Got trip to Texarkana AR. Got off I35 to TX 31 in Waco. Starting to run of time. Spotted a little gas station with truck parking. Now what to eat. I saw I could get Hunts pizza. I'll pass. And right across the street a Mexican restaurant. Let's go. Was greeted sat down, got salsa and chips. Man that Salsa was good, SPICY. Great addition to the area. Great service, food and drinks. The only advice I’d offer is to be sure and ask the price of any “special” that is offered. The night we were there they were offering a “special” Margarita. Shame on us for not asking the price. Noticed they were $16 a piece when the bill arrived.
