Gus Shreiner Dining Hall is one of the best kept secrets in Kerrville. It's open to the public even though it's the campus dining hall for Schreiner University students. We've only been for dinner, but it's also open for breakfast and lunch. Burgers & fries, baked potatoes, a nice salad bar, freshly made fire-baked pizza (generously cheesy and it STRETCHES when you take a bite 😋) and a rotating entrée with a side and vegetable. Tonight was a very meaty Shepherd's Pie (scrumptious) accompanied by yellow rice and broccoli Normandy. There are some desserts offered, tonight's were cookies, chocolate cupcakes and chocolate pudding. And there's always soft-serve ice cream🍦 Sunday also offers brunch and a more traditional "Sunday Dinner" style menu.
