East End Pizza Co. — Restaurant in Kerrville

My husband and I decided to try this place out tonight! We were excited they were open! We arrived at 5:30. We placed our order and the young lady said it might be a few minutes(they WERE busy) At 6:30 we still didn't have our pizza. We were being patient and didn't want to walk out like we saw so many other people doing. I could clearly tell the staff was overwhelmed and trying their best.(the restaurant WAS full) at 7(after waiting for an hour and a half for pizza) we noticed other customers getting their pizza, who arrived 30 minutes after us. The young lady and young man kept apologizing saying it's coming out now. At 7:30(2 hours after arriving) the young lady came out to look at our receipt and had to write our order down. Hubby had enough, he decided it was time to leave. They refunded our money. I honestly felt horrible for them because I could tell they were so overwhelmed tonight. The pizza we saw served to others looked and smelled delicious. We WILL be back when the "new" wears off. I just want to encourage others who may have had a bad experience like us, to please give this place another shot. I've worked in restaurants my whole life and I know it's not easy work. I do a lot of Google reviews and I try to be ethical when I do them. I wanted to try this location I really had no expectations when I arrived. I found the customer service to be very solid the day that I went which was Saturday March 8th I believe. I waited about 20 minutes for my pizza I was told when I ordered it would be that long so I did not have a problem with that. While waiting I use the restroom the restroom at that time was very clean I ordered a pepperoni lovers 16-in Pizza I would say the pizza was tasty. But the pizza cost me about $35. And I found it to be not that much pepperoni for a quote pepperoni lovers "I had about two pieces of pepperoni per slice I thought I read on the menu like the pepperoni might have been layered so I actually pulled a couple pieces apart to see if there was a secondary layer of pepperoni and I did not find that that to be true I'm not sure if I will pay $35 for a pizza again I might go back I...

My husband and I came in today (3/27/25) around 1pm and placed our order, which was a 10" circle pizza and fried onion straws. The lady told us is was going to be almost $35 for just those two things so I politely asked her why it was so much and automatically she got an attitude and told us it was because we ordered the 16" and when my husband corrected her, she blew up! She cut me a rude look while ripping up our receipt and went to talk to the cook. She was gone a couple of minutes before returning and she told the other waitress that she "couldn't deal with us and to go take our order." So my husband ending up explaining to her that the other girl didn't need to treat us that way and how she ruined our first time going there and now we'll never even try to go back.
