During the time of Covid-19 I would think that restaurants would use the 6 ft mandate always ( if possible). My husband and I were seated in a dining room with 1 other family. They were seated more than 6ft away. Then the hostess sat other parties of more than 2 people around us. Making us much closer than 6 ft. Before I could ask her if we could move to another table that would have been in compliance another family of 4 was then seated. There were at least 6 or more tables elsewhere in the restaurant, but it was already being cleaned for closing time. This is not being in compliance, in my opinion. The food was edible but not good. My husband had chicken enchiladas he liked his plate and I had a taco salad, that I couldn't finish so my husband finished it. We both remarked that the beef tasted like the canned ,"Devils Food" beef and it also had the same texture of the potted meat. It definitely wasn't ground beef. The staff was friendly and kept checking on us. The main reason for the low stars is not being compliant with covid 19 mandates and the food really isn't worth the drive off the...
Read moreWe first visited this place on the weekend of July 16th of last year. Great food and drinks, so we decided to visit today on our way back home. My partner ordered the shrimp pesto and when it arrived she promptly sent it back because of the taste and the temperature. I alerted the waitress that later told us she was the "manager" and let her know we didn't want it but wanted to order something else. She said she could not take the item off the ticket even though we didn't really eat it or didn't want it. It went down hill when she stated she was the manager but wasn't acting like a manager. Then had the audacity to tell me she recognized me from "the other day" and something happened with my food. I said first of all you don't recognize me because I live 3 hours away. The next thing is you are being stereotypical, and that doesn't fly well with me. The actual owner will be getting a call next week. The service and disrespect...
Read moreReview Update 05/27/23 They put the salsa at the bottom of the bag and then put 3 large California Burritos on top of the salsa. Shortly after pulling out of the drive through I found that the bag had salsa spilled everywhere and the bottom lf the bag was so soaked that the weight of the burritos had ripped whole in the salsa soaked part of the bottom of the bag. This is the result of their careless work ethic.
I recommend you stick with the chicken burrito, the carne asada burrito has a lot of fat inside it. Don’t bother paying extra for the cheese because they don’t give you enough cheese to justify buying it. The tortillas do not come toasted and the burrito becomes wet and soggy inside the aluminum foil if they are not consumed immediately after purchasing.
