This review is about the groomer, Sarah. We have been taking our golden retriever service dog there for approximately 5 years. Sarah usually bathes her, cuts her nails, and trims the hair on her legs and stomach and her private area. In the last about 6 months our dog has been scared to go there. She shakes when we pull into the driveway and once in the store she pulls to get to the door and tries to escape. We haven't been there in about 2 months due to our schedule. Yesterday we had an appointment and of course, the dog was scared and did the same things. I felt bad but she needed to be groomed. When I picked her up, the agreed upon price for a service dog had been increased by 40%! We had no notice of this HUGE increase! When I got home with my dog I noticed she had NOT been trimmed at all! She had been given a bath and her nails were trimmed. That's all! VERY DISAPPOINTED! I called and left a message for Sarah to call me back but didn't hear anything. My husband then spoke with the store owner and all she could do is defend the groomer and not stand behind to motto that the customer is always right. She then wanted us to bring the dog back in so they can confirm our complaint but we refused to put our dog through the stress she experiences at that facility. She did apologize and say she will talk to Sarah about it. We will not return! There are plenty of groomers in Kerrville that show better care...
Read moreI went to this place twice and I love this place. The first time I got horse feed but I got the wrong one, I also got Big Bend Coffee there. This is really great coffee if you ask me. When you buy anything heavy, they ask you to drive behind the building and they will load it in your vehicle. Now when I got home I found out it's the wrong one. So the next Monday I went there again but I didn't have the receipt with me and just told them what happened. They took it without problems back.
