What can I say about Shipwreck's Bar & Grill: The indoor ambiance is very social during peak hours with a Keys style bar atmosphere. The outdoor ambiance is nice during all parts or the day. Very friendly staff and locals who love to socialize!. Now to the Meal: Out of all the appetizers, I will suggest that you order the Crispy Pork Spare Ribs!!!! They are so good and perfectly crisp. I really enjoy the Grouper Picatta with Garlic Rissoto. The Rissoto and Grouper were actually cooked very well, I have had many in the Keys but no complaints here. There is a small wine selection, but the wine was very well paired with the meal, and there is a wide variety of beers and specials. To the desserts: Now.....! The Key Lime Pie was my favorite dessert,it was mildly tart and semi sweet, which is the staple of its texture. Coming in 2nd is the Shipwreck Cannon Balls ( Ice Cream Stuffed Pastry dipped in a light chocolate sauce and a drizzle of strawberry puree) the Brownie Served with Ice Cream was good. The servers were very attentive and polite. Even with a 20-person Party, my glass was always topped off. I can say that I will return again. Keep up the good work! Will return soon! I recently dined at this restaurant and overall had a pleasant experience. The view is absolutely stunning and sets the perfect ambiance for a relaxing meal. The customer service was exceptional, as the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and attended to all our needs. One highlight of the meal was the coconut onion rings, which were a delicious and unique twist on a classic dish. I also enjoyed my burger, which was cooked to perfection and came with generous portions of toppings. While enjoying our meal, we were delighted to have a friendly cat visit our table, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. In terms of practicality, the parking was easily accessible and convenient. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the portions sizes of the dishes. Overall, I would say my experience was positive and I would recommend this restaurant for a nice view, great customer service, and tasty food at a reasonable price.

A Hidden Gem in Key Largo – Shipwrecked I’ve been a loyal patron of Shipwrecked for five years, and there’s no doubt about it—this is the best bar and restaurant on the water in Key Largo. From the laid-back atmosphere to the incredible food, Shipwrecked nails it every time. The beer selection is top-notch, and the food? Absolutely spectacular. They’ve got unique items on the menu you won’t find elsewhere, and everything is always fresh and full of flavor. The staff truly makes the place feel like home. Melanie, Laura, and the general manager Omar go above and beyond—friendly, welcoming, and always on point with service. Some might call it a dive bar, but that’s part of the charm. It’s quaint, full of character, and the vibe is effortlessly cool. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Shipwrecked is a must-visit spot in Key Largo. Also, dog friendly on the patio!

If I could give 0 stars I would . Went with my family we are not local . We live in North Florida . Apon arrival we realized parking was packed could not find parking but decided to park on side of the road. Walked in and were told to sit where we want. We seated ourselves and waited about 20 minutes to order drinks at which point we order our children's food to. About 20 minutes later we were brought drinks . Two out of 5 drinks were wrong and waitress forgot one. This place was NOT BUSY . MAYBE 3 TABLES TOTAL INDOOR AND OUTDOOR WERE SEATED . When she brought back the right drinks we ordered fish tacos and a beef short rib over mashed potatoes. Kids got their food at that point. Rock hard stale french fries but hot like they were old and microwaved . And cold but extra greasy grilled cheese. We were served salads with brown lettuce and soggy croutons. Didn't eat waited for our meals for almost a hour and a half . Table who was seated way after us was served before us. They had like 6 people at their table and the waitress brought them two of the same meals we ordered wayyyyy before them. When we finally got out meals , the "ribs" was a tiny piece(maybe 3oz) of a ROAST , very dry , served with literally boxed mashed potatoes (for $25!!!) the fish tacos were rubbery and flavorless , upon eating out meals , we noticed the ceiling was CRAWLING with termites.

The ONLY reason we ate anything was because it was the only food we had all day and were werent wanting to go somewhere else with all the children.

Way to long of a wait , rude service , bad food , a ridiculous price and WRONG FOOD. Inaccurate menu description, NASTY TERMITE INFESTATION. I SHOULD NOT Have paid a dime and I will be reporting this place for health inspection. Each one of us got SEVERE runs on the 7 hours ride back to north Florida and this is the ONLY...

We had some friends visit and we thought we try Shipwrecks for dinner. We've been there before for lunch a couple of times and ordered appetizers and drinks for lunch and it was okay and slow, but we enjoyed the outside and the chance to see the Manitees. We got there at 5PM and was surprised they weren't that busy on Saturday night. I'm thinking good service shouldn't be a problem. Wrong! Took about 15 minutes for someone to show. We asked three times for someone to wipe off the dirty table. Took another 15 minutes. Ordered drinks and appetizers of onion rings that Took a half hour to arrive. Six onion rings bunt to a crisp. Ordered our meals half hour later meals came One Mahi Mahi basket was undercooked dripping with oil and the other basket fried to a crisp. Friend ordered hamburger French fried, got a chicken sandwich with Cole slaw. The waitress took it back and my friend got his hamburger by the time everyone was finished eating. Never got his fries. Place was dirty and Iade a big mistake of using the restroom. Almost lost it in there. Embarrassing taking my friends there. Pushing 70 and this was the worst.I have experienced and We've been to a lot of restaurants. On a good note they comped us the food. Just payed for the drinks that we could never get a refill. Hope this helps the restaurant to get things turned around....

We like most of the experiences we have trying new places to eat. We've visited every state and had fantastic dining and bar experiences in every one of those states. We were hoping to say the same about Shipwrecks because we had heard positive things. Unfortunately that could not have been further from what happened.

We arrived to restaurant less than 20% full, but all the tables with no one at had not been cleared of previous service items. We were met by a staff member who said to sit anywhere and they would be right with us. We chose an outdoor table and cleared enough space on the table for the 2 of us to sit down. We noticed 2 tables around us had menus and appeared to be ready to order. After about 5 minutes one of the tables nearby had there orders taken. The staff member walked by and neither acknowledged us or the remaining service items from the last guests on our table, or the other table wsiting to order. No other orders were taken, food delivered to any tables cleared for the next 20 minutes. We still had a dirty table and no menus at this point, so we decided to cut our losses and moved down the road to another local restaurant /bar where we had a wonderful meal. Had hoped to be reporting the same for Shipwrecks, but there severe shortcomings in customer service prevented us from even getting a look...
