We had not been out to dinner in quite awhile and were unaware Pioneer was gone. We decided we were there, we would give it a try. Only seating open was two high bar tables. We waited too long for anyone to acknowledge our presence. The waitress finally took our drink order, she was very friendly. My husband ordered fish and chips and asked for gravy over his fries. He got soup instead of a salad, waitress said the Tuscany soup was a cream base soup so my husband chose to try it. I decided lasagna would be a safe choice and got a salad with caesar dressing. Waiting was long. My husband finished his lemonade and wanted a refill but no one came by to ask. The soup was dropped off for my husband but it was nit creamy at all! It was just cream colored water and and not good. I expected my salad but it did not arrive. Our waitress was spending a fair amount of time behind the bar and chatting with patrons and other employees. Finally, she brought my lasagna and bread and started to leave but I said I had a salad I thought I would get before my meal. She said she forgot and went after my salad. My salad was dropped off and she told my husband his fish would be up soon and left. I saw my husband’s plate of fish and fries set up under the heat light for waitress pickup. Again, she was behind the bar. I was not going to eat until my husband had his food but she was not paying attention. I finally caught her looking my way and pointed to my husband’s meal. She finished her conversation before getting the plated food to my husband. He asked about the gravy he had ordered over his fries because there was none. She said they were out of gravy. We began our meal. The fish coating was so hard, my husband had difficulty cutting it with his table knife and said the fish was so so. My lasagna was unusual. Very cheesy but it just didn’t have the taste of lasagna and I was only able to eat half. It was not good. The garlic bread was flavorless and greasy. The salad was normal. We both agreed it was our first and last time coming to Gracie’s. We just wanted to be waited on in a timely manner, our order taken and delivered together, not in shifts. Nor did we expect to have to get the attention of our waitress so she would come from behind the bar and get my husbands food while I was waiting with my food cooling off. We were greatly unimpressed. Oh, the new lights look nice but were so close to the tables and so bright, the bright glare gave me a headache. The woman at the next table said she too had gotten a headache. Our nice Friday night...
Read moreWe ate at Gracie’s for the third time last night. We went with a few friends to celebrate a couple birthdays! Walking in, the waitress immediately sat us in the banquet room with a table set up with plenty of room! It was great! Drinks and App’s came quick. Fresh , hot and delicious! Specialty cocktails were top notch. We ordered the hummus, Beef Tip Poutine Fries, Cornbread, Onion Rings and the candied Bacon! So so good! When the entrees came out, everything arrived made to order and flavorful! After every visit, I see something that I know I’m going to order next time! We ordered the Cheeseburger and Fries, Filet (the mashed Potatoes and FRESH Veg!!!) Ribeye, Chicken Sandwich, the Monte Cristo, Chicken Parm, Chicken Alfredo, Spaghetti and Meatballs- every single thing, rather quick, piping hot and Fantastic. Soups and salads were perfect. Last but not least, The Desserts! We ordered a German Chocolate Cake, a Nutella Cheesecake and a Peanut Butter and Jelly pie and oh my goodness, delectable.
All in all, delightful experience all around. This is a good place, let’s do our best to support and visit...
Read moreFirst time trying after hearing mix reviews. Was extremely busy, to be expected on Valentine's Day. Waitress was extremely friendly, but did mess up our dessert order...after a long day we couldn't wait another 20 mins for the correct one to come. They did remove it from the bill and sent home the one they brought out on the house...kids enjoyed it. Husband enjoyed his ribeye, for $34 it could have been a little more filling though. My shrimp Alfredo was a combination of good, but almost too salty, definitely taste it before you season! 4 decent size shrimp on top for a $5 up charge. I would not add a salad to the meal as it's barely a small handful...Greek dressing was again good but almost too salty. I definitely can't see elderly folks enjoying the salt levels, just sayin. Best part of the meal was the fried pickle chips...honestly best we've ever had and a super large portion for the price compared to the actual main meals and prices you'll see elsewhere! Overall may give them another go for a lunch date, if anything for more pickle chips lol, but wouldn't be quick to recommend to anyone...
