Wadhams Red Pepper — Restaurant in Kimball Township

As some one who takes pride in a good traditional taco and enchiladas, some one who has visited ove one hundred hispanic restaurants and eaten many of street tacos and enchiladas I'm saddened by what I found here. With two traditional chicken tacos on a low grade single piece of corn tortillas with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. I scraped the lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese off. chicken was so dry and unseasoned I barely made it threw one taco. Left the other on the table. Moving on to the enchilada served with a brown gravy mixture poorly seasoned, tasting as if it were watery refried beans with a taco seasoning in it, again with the dry unseasoned chicken and lettuce in side. The chips and salsa brought to the table were the best thing about the food and thats being polite as the two one spicy and one not. sauce tasted like ketchup mixed with some ground seasonings and peppers neither spicy and still lacking flavor. Best value restaurant in the area, maybe in michigan. I got the jumbo burrito. It was only like $8. Was it the best wet burrito I've ever had? No. but it was more than half the cost of the best, and I'd give it an 8/10. Definitely will make regular stops here.

Things you may not like: -Blended salsa with chips. This didn't bother me as I like the smoothness but I can see how others wouldn't like it -No good hot sauce. The food is good but the service lately, them forgetting things in carry out orders, them not answering phones, and them closing before the time their suppose to example today I called at 650 they close at 730. They didn't answer so I figured I'd swing by and just order takeout tonight on our way home from softball practice. Nope I got there at 710 they said we closed at 7 tonight due to being slow.
