Amended 31JAN23… I was reconciling my CC statement and just noticed Chris double charged me for an order he failed to bring (see below). This was insult, added to injury, added to my credit card. Bottom line, I won’t be returning to Chefo’s. Original post… I’d started going to Chefo’s over three years ago and have been there probably 20+ times. I was impressed, but not anymore. The poor service and declining food quality now offsets where they had excelled. I’ve given them several chances in the past three months and they’ve struck out. The last time was similar to what I’ve recently experienced. We sat down and it took 15 minutes before I complained and Chris (owners son?) brought menus and took our drink orders. He pointed out our server and said she would be right over. We watched for another 5 minutes while she did everything, but stop by and say she was sorry for the wait and would be right there. I’m not looking for anything, but recognition that they’ve treated a fairly regular Customer poorly. The tables are dirty, service is slow and impersonal. My orders have been delivered late, wrong, and the food quality is declining. We left after just a half cup of coffee. Contrast this with their competitor, Chico’s, where I ended up. We’ve sat down and within 12 minutes I’m on my second cup of coffee and we’re sharing my GF’s soup. The greeter took our drink orders and we’ve spoken with two friendly servers.
Chefo’s is still busy, but I’ve seen other disappointed Customers wait, scowl, and ask for their just delivered food to be boxed right away. Good luck staying busy with this poor level of service.

Read moreMy sister, brother in law and I went to get breakfast. We were greated and brought to our table. They told use they were short staffed which is understood being Sunday morning. Our waitress was really friendly. Our visit started out good. I ordered potato pancakes with some added veggies, brother in law a country fried steak, and my sister a cheese and bacon omelet. We got our food and started eating. My food was good exactly how I ordered it. Brother in law said his was good other then when they handed him his French toast it fell on my plate. Get it accidents happen they apologized and brought him new ones. As my sister was eating her bacon omelet she said this is not bacon. So I took a piece and I could tell by just looking at it...It definitely was ham. Which was fine she eats ham and was ok with it. So we asked if we could at least get a side of bacon cause she didn't get it in her omelet. The waitress came back to us from the kitchen and told use the cook said it is bacon just cut up. Well sure maybe Canadian bacon but she asked for bacon. So whatever we just keep eating. The waitress brought her the side of bacon all this time my sister still has not gotten her toast after asked for it 3 times. She finally got her toast after being done eating. We are waiting to get our check as our waitress still being nice and doing what she can. We got our check and they still charged for the side of bacon! I not sure I would mark this off the list yet cause food was good. But sound they need to focus a bit on customer service and the cook should know the difference between...
Read moreI had been wanting to try Chefo's for awhile. I ordered off of Eat Street and was told my order would be ready at 11:56. My order showed on my phone that it was confirmed. I went to the restaurant and waited for the next available staff member. She came to the counter and asked if I wanted a table for one. I said no and told her that I had an order for pick up. She said that they were not doing pick up orders. I told her that my phone said the order was confirmed. She asked who I ordered through and I told her Eat Street. She said that they had Eat Street turned off. I showed her the order confirmation on my phone. She said she didn't know why it was confirmed because they turned if off. She then turned the screen from the Eat Street machine towards me and said "See no orders." She said sorry and walked away. I left and 10 minutes after my order should have been done I got an email from Eat Street "We sincerely apologize, but we have learned that the restaurant you ordered from is currently closed and unable to fulfill your order. As a result, the order you placed had to be canceled." So obviously they didn't have the machine turned off otherwise my order wouldn't have been confirmed and right after I left my order wouldn't have been canceled because the restaurant was "closed". No offer to make my order for me just a sorry and she...
