Hestia Cafe — Restaurant in King City

I moved from King City to Northwest Arkansas back in 2012. I payed a visit a few weeks ago and saw that a lot has changed. My husband and I decided to take our toddler and baby on walk down Broadway and we noticed this nice little coffee shop. We missed the coffee from back home and the aesthetic of the building reminded us of some of the coffee/tea shops from downtown Rogers and Bentonville, so we didn’t hesitate to walk in. We were greeted right when we walked in and we were offered an iced water for our toddler who was thirsty from the heat outside. Since it was our first time, we didn’t know what to order so we asked for recommendations and we ended up getting an iced strawberry mocha and an iced raspberry white chocolate latte. Never have I ever came to any establishment and received rude customer service. A couple of days ago (Monday) I went to go a check out the cafe in town with my brother who’s handicap and walks with a limp, and as we walk inside, we walk to the tables and I pull a chair for my brother to sit, as I’m doing so one of the staff members had the audacity to look up at the both of us and say “the tables are for paying customers” she then proceeded to give my brother and I looks, as if we didn’t belong. So I pushed the chair in and had my brother wait out side. And then I went back inside to make an order. The entire time I felt extremely uncomfortable because of what the staff member had said and how she looked at us. That was very unprofessional, unwanted attention that wasn’t necessary. One of the best lattes I have ever had! Me and my girlfriend stopped here randomly on our way south. I ordered a latte with oat milk and cinnamon and my girlfriend ordered a drip coffee. Both were incredible. The barista told us they get their coffee from Coastal Peaks in SLO. We also used the restroom which was very clean and had a cool sliding barn door.
