Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Kingsport

I eat at alot of Zaxbys in my area and they have always charged extra their BBQ sauce if you want more than one. I have learned that if you ask to substitute the cole slaw for a second BBQ sauce you don't get charged for it. Some of the locations have been slow to figure out the key code on the register but I always assure them it's there. After they ask a manager they have now learned something new. Well this location is stuck on the customer never being right. I explained to the girl behind the register that the slaw could be swapped out for BBQ sauce so I wouldn't be charged. She argued with me and then asked a manager who was running the drive through and didnt seem to have time to look or teach or employee anything so the quickly responded "can't be done" and turned and walked away. I then told the girl to forget it just give me the extra sauce and I'll pay for it. To which she replies I'll give you as many as you want we don't charge for them. While that's good news, not charging for extra BBQ sauce when you don't for your regular Zaxbys sauce, I now learn that some charge extra and some dont... I like Zaxbys but I don't like having to teach their employees for them nor aguring about BBQ sauce when some charge and some don't. Any extra sauce should be free like all the other...

Tried to go through the drive thru and order food on 3/20/24 around 5:30pm, there was a person standing in the drive thru with a tablet taking orders. She would not allow me to look at the menu or pull up to the speaker and I’m not sure why because there was literally no one else in line, it’s not like they were busy. Went inside to order instead, all of the employees and managers were leaning against the counter chitchatting. The girl who took my order had the personality of a wet dishrag…no smile, no how are you, no nothing. Manager came over and asked what I needed when I asked why they wouldn’t let me look at the menu outside. He gave me a free drink so I would go away. The boneless wings I ordered were old, hard, chewy and room temperature. I’m not sure how long they had been sitting out before being served to me, which was puzzling considering how long I had to wait for them. The drink machine was disgusting, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days if not weeks. Trash cans were disgusting and piled up with trash and discarded dipping sauces. I’m officially done with Zaby’s. The prices are way too expensive to be served trash food by employees...

Me and my wife go to this location often. And it seems as if the staff continues to get worse and the quality continues to go down as children are running a kitchen. I dont write reviews but this last time, today seemed too far and things need to be addressed. After ordering my food i was asked to pull up as they was finsihing my 1 year olds grilled cheese. Before i pulled away i asked the girl at the window for extra sauses and as usual they agreed, i waited for around 6-ish minutes for my order at my car and went home to find that all of the chicken was like rubber to mine and my wifes meal. As if it sat under a hot light for the last 4 hours and they was overcooking to keep up and failed to take quality into account. And not only was the extra sauses NOT included, but the sause that comes with the meals wasnt even with our food. The fries were also rubber like and tasted awful.

So to SUM THINGS UP The chicken was rubber, the fries as well, and no one can follow simple directions to put sauses in the bag, and the only thing worth it from my almost 40$ order for 3 people was the drinks from the...
