East Coast Wings + Grill — Restaurant in Kingsport

First time visitors and last time all at once. Sadly, we are all aware that the employee shortage and supply chain has affected even the best places. However... I do feel these problems run deeper here. The Kingsport location should close and do a FULL cleaning from top to bottom. Sticky everywhere, sauce on walls and seats and we sat near the kitchen that smelled rancid. The server was absolutely NO help suggesting things and seemed completely put out to be there. We decided to give it a shot even through that because we'd heard the wings were good. Ordered the feta dip and it came out runny and only had about 10 small pieces of pita to dip. Don't ask for more because they won't bring it. We ordered 2 orders of 10 wings each. I was very nicely surprised by the quality and size of the meat. The rest I could have definitely done without. Both of our "sauces" were incorrect yet we tried to just deal w it because of short staffing. Mine were so greasy that it was unappetizing. The sauces were under the wings and not all over either order. No celery or carrots or anything else. So strange. Anyway, we have decided to just stick with other places despite the highest hopes for this location. I do truly hope they close a bit and do a full on...

Finally got in tonight to try this place with my husband and grandaughter. Right from the start I felt it wasn't going to be a good experience and I was correct! The hostess acted like we were bothering her to even be there. No smile. Nothing. Sat us at a table that was dirty and sticky. Looking around none of the other tables looked much better. Place could use a good cleaning. Our waitress was not much better. No personality. No smile. She had no knowledge about any of the wing sauces..which struck us as odd seeing it is a wing place. I went with the 10 wings.with Polynesian sauce. I had high hopes for this place. The wings came cold. The skin On them was hard..covered with a thick sticky tasteless sauce. :( Husband's burger with Mac&cheese in it fell apart after the first bite. Was a mess. He had to finish the sloppy mess with a fork. The tatter totts were cold and boring. Grandaughter got a tiny dish of Mac&cheese with an applesauce and a drink for almost $7. The Mac&Cheese tasted like it was straight out of a can!! If that's possible!! Definitely was not home made. Even the soda was flat. I always follow up any negative review i write with at least one positive. I can not think...

If I could give ZERO stars I would!! The service was terrible. The host stand wouldn’t greet nor look our way when we walked in. Just wanted to stand and gossip and the one girl with blonde hair (name may be Amy) physically turned her back to us while standing in the way for us to be seated. And then when we got to the table my grandmother had asked if we could get a full booth table and the girl rolled her eyes like it was the biggest annoyance of her day. Very awful service and will NOT be going back there. My grandmother didn’t deserve that treatment just for asking for a table that was a full booth. And the server barely came to the table. I would have understood if it was actually busy but it wasn’t. When the food was brought out our drinks were already gone and we were starving so basically choking down the food and using the sauce as a drink because the server was nowhere to be found. It was the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Not to mention if I would have read the reviews I would have never went because despite it being told “this will be addressed immediately” it hasn’t been.
