Nucky's Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Kingsville

Had a friend who worked at the bar. She came over to say hi to my friend and I at our table. we were approached by the security guy and he accused us of cornering her. We didn't do such thing. He didn't want to hear us out and understand that she was our friend. she tried to get us drinks but the owner wouldn't let her serve us. to calm things down I told him that we understood the situation and this wouldn't happen again.

he leaves and some other guy comes up to us accusing us of the same thing. he threatens to hurt us if he saw something like this again. he was serious. he leaves and our friend gets us waters. at this point we don't want to stay. we drink our waters and make our way out. the guy who confronted us tells security that he wants to follow us out to make sure that we actually leave. I leave immediately. the worst experience I've ever had in my life in a public bar or restaurant. this was such a great place to go to but this experience ruined it all. never will I set foot in such a wretched...

Food is amazing, no doubt about that. The thing that they lack at is a system for their to-go orders. No one is designated to take charge and you will watch your food go through multiple sets of hands and then just placed on the counter and left even though you told them your name and you are standing right there waiting. Also food was marked as ready and when I got there it took 20 minutes past that time for my food to actually be ready. Also music tends to be way too loud. Cool little bar on the north side of town. Decent selection of cocktails. Has bar food also, but I didn't have any.

Nice setup inside. Various types of people visit - older, younger, men, women. Not a gangster bar or stereotype bar for military or college aged kids or whoever. A little bit of everyone was there and everyone got along. Chill environment.

I went and had a good time. Staff is on point. Also, my wife's white Russian was superb....
