Taqueria Santa Cruz — Restaurant in Kirbyville

My daughter, son, and I have been ordering tacos from here since the beginning of this year. My children are renovating my home and it's good to not have to cook once or twice a week. We do not go in and couldn't comment on how things are operated inside. We don't order by phone because the gentleman that answers will get our order wrong every time. We understand he doesn't speak english very well, and it's easier to order at the window, but the drive through is very very slow.

The lady that operates the window charged my son $31 today for an order that my daughter normally pay $21 and a tip for with my debit card. We always order: a plate with 4 beef tacos all the way, beans, and rice. a plate with 3 beef tacos all the way, with beans, and rice, and 2 separate beef tacos plain. He did order a coke today. My son asked if my daughter normally pays that much and the lady said yes and that she normally give her a tip too. I'm appalled! I do not normally pay so much for what we got today. I called her and she screamed at me telling me that I changed the order up and got 2 extra tacos. We order the same thing every time... every time! She doesn't give receipts so all I could say was that I wont be coming back anymore. I'm actually hurt because we liked this lady very much....

I'm so glad I stopped by! I mean the place is a house turned into a restaurant. Might have a little wait while they prep the food but it's totally worth it. Definitely you local mom and pop restaurant. Prices were very fair and food was absolutely delicious. The barbacoa torta...

Amazing food! I never like tamales untill I tried theirs 🤤 they are to die for! Not a wide selection of food but when you have quality food like they do for a decent price you don't need a bigger selection! & She already knows on Fridays I want a dozen...
