Just returned from a 2 week stay here as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids aged 8 & 12) and we will definitely be back when next returning to Orlando. |It is the best value for money room and location wise we have had when holidaying in Orlando and can't believe we haven't stayed here before. ||The location is perfect for Disney and the regular free shuttle buses provided are great. Although we did use Uber/Lyft mostly as were cheap and meant we could go whenever ready ETC. |Example prices of a taxi one way fare to Disney parks ranged from as little as $6, up to $20 dollars depending on time and what part of Disney it was too/from.|As Universal is further away it is a little more expensive to get up there but still reasonable taxi fares of around $15 - $25. All in all better value than car hire and theme park car parking prices IMO! |One thing is it that the hotel is quite remote and can only really walk to any shops/facilities across the busy road, or a bit further along towards the I4 there is more choice of shops and restaurants ETC. But with ubers/lyfts so plentiful and good value you can get anywhere you need to around Orlando easily without a car from the hotel.||The rooms are great and are perfect for what you need them for if not spending a lot of time in the room. Big enough, clean and loved having a separate living space to the bedroom. |So much better than the one bedroom motel type rooms that most other hotels in Orlando offer at the same value. The rooms were serviced and cleaned every day to a high standard. |The reception staff were friendly and helpful when needed. |The included breakfast is a great bonus and although not the biggest selection it had more than enough to get you going for the day. Pancakes, coffee and the fruit went down well. The breakfast staff were so friendly and nice also. ||We only used the pool here a couple of late nights after parks but again the area is kept beautifully clean and the pool was great for a quick dip and cool down. |We did have pool days at the sister hotel though, as this was bigger and had a bigger pool with slide, pool bar and DJ playing so was brilliant to use this also. ||The benefit of being able to use the facilities at the Caribe Royale, next door a 2 min walk away, is also what makes this hotel a great option as they have a Starbucks, bars/restaurants and market shop available for guests to use. |Caribe Royale is a beautiful huge hotel and is the perfect partner to use when staying at Buena Vista Suites. ||Keep up the good work and service, can't...
Read moreWe stayed for two weeks visiting Disney and universal, my wife and I and our 15 year old son. The first room we were given had broken air con and really stank but after complaining we were given a different room, same set up but with an accessible bathroom.
We had a king suite with king bed and separate living room with sofa bed. There was a fridge, microwave, and other furniture in the room. There was plenty of storage space for 2 weeks of packing and ample space to store 3 large and 3 small suitcases.
The bathroom had a really big shower with shower curtain given it was an accessible room, but it was actually really good, sometimes the wet room in accessible rooms overspills and gets the bathroom floor wet, this wasn’t the case at all, it was a shower curtain with a heavy fabric layer on the outside that worked perfectly. The bathroom was a decent size with large mirror and sink.
The room was very clean with housekeeping daily, bed and sofa bed were made. All towels and toiletries were replaced each day regardless if required, there was an abundance of everything. Housekeeping was very good. The bed was very comfortable and the air con was great. We could also close the doors between the bedroom and living room at night.
It’s worth noting that there’s not really anywhere decent to eat (outside of sister hotel £££) if you stay for a while and want variety, so we mostly made sure we ate before returning and visited the pizza place over the road a couple of times (don’t go to the pizza place in the hotel).
The breakfast was included, a variety of American breakfast items that varied very slightly day to day. Eat early if you don’t want a crowded breakfast, it gets really busy at times. The breakfast did get a bit repetitive after 2 weeks.
The pool area was nice enough, plenty of pool towels and clean, but we only used it once.
The reception staff were a bit hit and miss, the managers were great whenever they were on reception and always provided a great service, some of the others though were hard work, basic asks like booking busses were a real chore for them. The staff at breakfast were all great though and friendly.
There were plenty of hotel buses to Disney in the morning and a few options in the evening, even when they were fully booked they were a third full so there was always space. A tip would be to just get whatever time you wanted regardless of park and use the Disney transportation system when you get there to move between parks.
We had a great stay and would recommend, good value...
Read moreWe absolutely loved our stay at Buena Vista Suites! This hotel is an easy 4-star, and when you factor in the use of the amenities at the plush sister hotel next door, Caribe Royale Orlando, it pushes a 5-star experience. Buena Vista Suites is a lovely, plush, and modern hotel that provides a relaxing atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, modern and well-designed, making it a pleasure to unwind after a long day. It feels like a home from home experience. The corridors and atrium are lovely.||The hotel has a cute pizzeria downstairs, perfect after a long day, and a small self-scan shop with all the essentials, including drinks and alcohol, which was really convenient. We used the pizzeria a few times and had a movie night in our room after a day of visiting the parks. We loved it! The pool and spa pool are cozy, intimate, and incredibly relaxing, with the added bonus of a free towel service. But what really elevates this hotel is having access to the Caribe Royale next door. The sister hotel has an even larger pool with a waterfall and slide, a lovely poolside bar, a cool sports bar inside, and a very plush, relaxing low lit bar upstairs. There’s even a swanky restaurant on site, adding to the overall luxury feel.||The location is perfect! It’s just a 15-minute drive to Disney and about 20 minutes to Universal, putting you right in the middle of both. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to Disney that you can easily pre-arrange, and parking is free, which was a big plus. Getting around was simple, with Ubers to International Drive costing only $12-15.||The only area where I think Buena Vista Suites could improve is the breakfast. It’s neither poor or great – just okay. For a hotel that presents a plush premium image, the breakfast could be better. Like many other hotels in the U.S., they serve breakfast on disposable plates, with plastic utensils and cups, which I found disappointing. It creates unnecessary environmental waste and devalues the dining experience. For a hotel of this caliber, real plates, glasses, cups and utensils would make a world of difference.||Overall we had a wonderful stay. The hotel staff were exceptional—always cheerful, helpful, and ready to assist with a smile. Their friendliness enhanced our experience, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend Buena Vista Suites or the Caribe Royale Orlando next door. It's a fantastic hotel, it's plush and in an ideal location. We will be staying again in the future,...
