Country Pride, I had a very bad experience. I placed a to go order & then left & came back at the alloted time. The waitress out loud from across the room yells at me to, "go stand over there & don't stare at the cook." I am in disbelief that this woman just yelled at me with at least 10 other people around. I didn't have my glasses with me, so I guess they got a bad vibe of me squinting. I wasn't even looking at the Cook, how can I see her behind a wall anyway?? What I was looking at was the to go boxes on the counter that seemed to be ignored. I ignored her, but when she paid me out, I told her how embarrassing that was. She immediately starts walking off while I'm pouring my heart out. What kind of madness is this. I felt less than a person. Is this how my ancestors felt?! As she walks away, she's talking over me to where I can't even get a complete sentence out. I'm trying to keep the tone low because she had already embarrassed me, and she's doing it again. How is she a waitress is my...
Read moreI've only had breakfast items here and have always enjoyed my meal. Sometimes will stop here to grab a bite after getting gas. It's the first/last stop in Jersey, and right off the highway, making it really convenient to get to.
I've never seen a lot of people in the restaurant, probably the earlier hours I'm traveling, which is a good thing because I'll get my food quickly. The deals are decent, for a little over $12 I got eggs, bacon and hashbrowns, along with a coffee. Servers are nice too, had a great conversation with Cassie last time I visited.
I was so hungry last time I came, I ate so quickly and didn't take any photos. But, the food looked good, tasted good, and filled me up right. Coffee hit the spot too, tasted like a fresh dark brew.
All-in-all I really like this place. Stop in for a quick...
Read moreThis is a truck stop restaurant located right off route 80. It is easily seen from traffic and is definitely handicap friendly. The people are usually friendly and try to be accommodating. They try to stay on top of the usual restaurant and rest room messes. The store has a nice selection of food and items geared to the professional drivers. Its main draw card is the all you can eat buffets. The food is usually warm but too many times we've had empty pans instead of food. However, in their favor is if a food is empty, say sausages, the waitress will bring some to your table. The food is also bland for breakfast. If you want eggs a certain way, other than scrambled, they will get them for you. They do have the BEST rye toast anywhere. I wish I could buy a...
