Subway — Restaurant in Knoxville

Whoever was at subway on 7/21 on nightshift is an absolute CHAMP. (Not quite sure of his name, but I believe it was Marcus (super nice, younger black gentleman)). My husband went to pick up a Doordash order, and Marcus(?) already had a few orders ahead of ours that he was working on, but was super nice and went ahead and made the one my husband was picking up. They spoke for a bit while he was working through his orders. In the 15-20 minutes my husband was there, Marcus(?) recieved 19 new Mobile Orders in the span of 10 minutes. 19. One of which was for 18 sandwiches and then some. Keep in mind he was the only one in the store. Not only did he not get discouraged, but kept his cool and kept on trucking. He needs a raise and needs some help on the night shift. The quality of service and product he putting out was worth so much more than what he was getting paid. If you go in and see him, make sure to give him a big ol fat tip. He deserves every bit of it....

After arriving ten min after lunch, I stood in line for an additional ten min waiting for the woman to stop complaining about another worker not showing up. Mean while i watched her smoke two cigarettes infront of the weigles. Then continued that they only had two types of bread nine grain honey oat and wheat. This was completely a waist of my time. I stood in line for almost twenty min and had to leave with no food. I only get a 30 min lunch break so today because of this woman and the weigles subway i will have to continue my 12 hour work shift with out something to eat. Thanks a lot, would not waist your time here. They are always slow behind or out of something. This was just over...

UPDATE: There must be some new people in charge. The employees seem more friendly and attentive and they actually have more than one person working at a time. Time will tell.

Previous review: I work close by and many of our folks frequent this location. They are apparently under new management. Well while the new manager was trying to cash me out he was talking on the phone about the color of his nephews sneakers. I also was thrilled about my lunch being near the underwear that were hanging out...
