El Rodeo Family Mexican — Restaurant in Kosciusko

Gordon Ramsay would tear this place apart! I asked the waitress what was in the loco dip. Instead of asking she straight told me she didn't know. I asked her could she go ask. I decided to order it. My husband ordered mixed fajitas. The fajitas were bland and the tortillas were store bought and stuck together. My dip finally came. On top there was pico, then maybe 2 teaspoons of cheese. The rest of the bowl was cold ground beef. When I told my waitress it was cold, she blamed it on the pico. There wasn't enough pico in that bowl to make all of the meat cold!!! Needless to say the manager came and got it and brought me a new one. It was ok. I got a strawberry margarita and my husband had a jumbo margarita. I think mine was virgin because there was no alcohol and my husband's had too much alcohol. Maybe I'm just spoiled from having authentic Mexican food for many years.. This was...

Kosciusko has little to offer in the way of dinning. A lot of people in this area eat here….but I think only because they do not have choices. I am not a fan of Mexican fare….but even that being said I have eaten at plenty…and this one is not good. The taco salad I had was just gross….no flavor and soggy….I only ate a few bites and told them to take it….for the most part my lunch was queso and chips….and it was just okay with that! I suspect they buy their chips at Sams….certainly are not making them fresh….if they are….might need to work on that abit! The people are super friendly…and attentive…..but don’t go here for good Mexican food…..in Texas we have them on every corner…and I don’t think this place would last...

First off, There was this waitress who was hella judgmental. She made a racist comment about us to a customer (not the same ethnic as my family) who made another racist comment. Safe to say that I will NOT be going back to this restaurant. The food wasn’t all that good. The appetizer(wings) were kind of warm but dry as a powder house. Only thing that was good were the tortilla chips and cheese. The people look at you like you are from another freaking world and they talk about you in their language. If they do all of this in front of you I can only imagine what they do to your food especially if they don’t like...
