Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Krum

A horrible experience from beginning to end - called my local Pizza a Hut only to get a customer service agent in some foreign country. This person couldn’t understand me nor I him, so I called back and placed an order with a young lady who was a little easier to understand (still was a communication gap) - my order had the wrong name on it so more confusion when my wife picked up the order. When she showed me the receipt it showed $37.40 even though I had been quoted $24.70. Called and was able to get through to the local store. I spoke to Jeff who analogied and explained that the promo code must have somehow cancelled out. He offered a $20 credit. When we did not see the credit I called the store again and spoke to Chad who said the credit was for future food. I explained that we expected a credit back to the card and he said he did not have to do anything because my wife had signed the receipt. He also went on to tell me how they do not honor prices offered by the CSR agents when you order through them. He kept referring to it as “ordering online” and could not understand that that I had called in the order. I asked for his boss’ contact info and he gave me his phone number letting me know he was the RDM which I take to mean “Real Dumb Mgr”. I will be reaching out to corporate to find out who owns the Krum franchise. They need to know what kind of “management” is running their operation. I know we will never eat there again. To top it all off - the pizza was lousy. The Canadian bacon was not the usual round ham sliced into quarters but instead was some mysterious shredded pork substance that we could not identify and the sauce was not the usual Pizza Hu sauce. It’s like this franchise is not using Pizza Hut ingredients. Order your Pizza from anywhere else....

I'm done with this store. They've gone so downhill in the past 6 months. When they don't have a topping you selected they just don't add it. No phone call. Nothing. There is ALWAYS something wrong with the food. Tonight was the last straw as the pasta we ordered came about 40 minutes past the estimated delivery time with some excuse of "we needed pans" or something to that effect. And we got the smores cookie thing and it's not cut. They give a handful of forks and explain that its "too messy" to cut. Fine. Whatever. Open the pasta that is the two pans of pasta with an order of breadsticks for 10 bucks. I open the box to find 3 pans of pasta. I can't even call to have words with them over this because the delivery man told me the phones are down and have been all day. There are times when no delivery driver is available and they'll wait half an hour to call to let you know that your food is never coming, but they'll be glad to let you pick it up. If I wanted to or was able to pick it up, I would have ordered it that way and thank you for wasting time I could have been going out to get it.

The ONLY redeemable quality to this place is the delivery drivers themselves. They always seem to try their hardest to make up for the stupidity of this entire store. I always make sure to tip them. It isn't their fault that they are given the wrong foods or subpar foods.

No more chances. I'll just live without the convenience of delivery considering it has become everything...

I have used this location about 6-7 times, all carryout except for one delivery. Delivery was very quick no problems at all. All the employees have been very nice and accommodating. I am surprised to see all of the negative reviews for messed up orders & unanswered phones because the times I called with a question they always answered promptly. One time I ended up with wrong pizza but was an easy mistake due to another person with same first name. I do have one gripe but nothing major & easily happens. I ordered a large meatlovers which coat $16 then after it was delivered I seen online where there was a current sale for large pizza any way you want it for$11. When I had called that order in I really wish the employee had informed me of the cheaper option to use & I could have also gotten veggies added. All for $11 versus the $16 I paid. But overall I do love this location and the people have been great. Other reviewers had complaints regarding employees goofing around. In case corporate were to read reviews I would like to point out that "goofing around" or cutting up during work does not bother me whatsoever when visiting a business. I would rather see the team having good times and joking with one another rather than no smiles, all serious, and "stiff shirts". Not over done....but a little joking does a body good :-) (I will also note that I have not seen any employees smoking out front as suggested by previous...
