If I could rate -10 I would and they'd more than deserve it. Everytime I go there they forget something. Every. Single. Time. Last time I went here I got 3 orders of nacho fries with extra cheese and 1 order or guacamolie with chips for my son. I got all the way home before I realized I got a bag of cheese with a side of guacamolie. Went all the way back for my fries. And mind you, I live on the other side of town. By that time everything was cold so I asked for new cheese and the fries I didn't get. He knew why I was there and I told him over and over again that I wanted new cheese too. A new order with fresh fries and new cheese. He said no problem everytime. After 20 mins they handed me a bag of fries. No cheese. So after catching his attention AGAIN I told him I wanted the cheese too. Him and the crew went back and forth because he didn't tell them I needed new cheese, he just thought it was 'obvious'. So he told me it'd be right out. After another 20 mins I was so mad I couldn't see straight. What is so hard about a few cups of nacho cheese?! So I flagged down another worker(the original one was gone) and told her that I'd really appreciate it if I could get the cheese I need for the fries that are now half an hour old and cold so I could f*cking leave. Took her 2 mins to get me my cheese. The whole ordeal took an hour. Just crazy. And not an apology for the wait or anything from anyone the entire time. Just awful. Every trip there has always been just as bad. Forgetting my order/sauces, telling me the wrong price for my order, or just generally not knowing what's going on so I have to repeat myself over and over again. But that fiasco was by...
Read more"Is this all there is?" you think to yourself as you sit in your booth facing the strip, trucks roaring by but your eyes glazed over and deep in thought in between bites of your 900-calorie Cheesy Gordita Crunch. Sure you wanted to have a family, but when you became an adult you wanted to have a bit of a life too. Go to college, travel, and have a little freedom and independence to explore and figure things out. Having two kids by your early 20's but a damper on those dreams. You love them of course, and they mean the world to you. The daddy you're not so sure of, but the pressure was there to get hitched so you went along with it. As you grab your Beefy Fritos Burrito, you face the realities of being a full-time mom while the hubby makes barely enough for the family to squeak by. God forbid there'd be an emergency because you don't know how you'd survive from that. You choke on the bits of Fritos in your burrito and turn to your Baja Blast Mountain Dew (because what other drink would you order here?) to wash it all down. You sigh and wonder how things could've turned out for you differently in La Grande. And as you reach your daily recommended calorie intake with just this one meal, you think to yourself: This is Purgatory. This...
Read moreAs far as Taco Bells go, the food is good as always. I have just a couple of problems with this particular store. #1. They are always out of "something." Last time I went in, it was the syrup for their Diet Baja Blast" drink. Other times I have been in and they were out of chicken or cheese, etc. I do admit, some of it was due to Covid and the inability to get in Freight, but we have lived in a nearby county for 4 years and it always seems to be something. #2. When the governor was loosening the restrictions on what she required for Covid, this store went over the top and increased their restrictions by only allowing ordering and pickup from their drive thru. As we live out of town and only come this way to do grocery shopping, we didn't want to have to eat in our car. We also don't like ordering over the drive thru because we have a large family and it is difficult for everyine to see the board to know what they want, to relay what everyone wants to have, and ordering takes too long. When we were able to go inside, everyone could order themselves. So we...
