I wanted to treat myself to something special, so I ordered the lobster burrito which I have ordered dine-in and takeout several times before (always very good experiences) but the last time the burrito they gave me was completely different. There was absolutely no lobster in it at all just a bunch of rice and oil. I was hungry and hoped there might be lobster near the end so I kept eating until I realized.
I called to complain to the restaurant and let them know that I was very unhappy having spent $25.00 on a lobster burrito with no lobster. I was pretty upset but the person I spoke with didn't offer any resolution and ended up disconnecting the call.
This will be my last dine-in/take out order from La Finca Casa Blanca. When I pay extra for something I expect to get what I pay for. I feel like they cut corners knowing my order was for takeout and didn't take responsibility or offer a resolution. Other potential customers should be aware of this when ordering expensive takeout from...
Read morethe chile relleno was the best I've had but my wife's "california burrito" was the worst: it was refrigerator-cold and had literally two half-french fries in it. We arrived at 10:45 because we have tiny children who don't last that long at restaurants and it took more than an hour for our food to arrive (the restaurant was almost empty) and nobody refilled our waters the entire meal. We asked them to take my wife's cold burrito off the bill and they said they would but then didn't. We had to go up to the counter to do it. The person delivering the food was funny - had a dry sense of humor. I don't know what the problem is but they need to fix their service. The chile relleno was good enough to try doordashing it despite the poor service at the restaurant but the cold burrito makes me think it's not worth the...
Read moreThis isn't a "taco shop", so I think we ordered the wrong type of food, rolled tacos and a burrito. I'm sure their restaurant type food is great, though I ve never tried it. I got 5 rolled tacos with all the toppings, it just wasn't great and there's some bitter cheese, maybe cotija? that I didn't care for, needed more guac. My dad had rolled tacos with just cheese, and he thought they had a good flavor at first but not so much as he kept eating. My husband's carne asada burrito was made from a dense tortilla, and had lettuce and cream, and some guac along with the carne. I also didn't much like the salsa. I don't think I'll ever go back because they had dine in even though that's not allowed right now. I understand why they would, but I don't support that when the hospitals are...
