I've been to a couple of plays here now (Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None and Gods of Carnage) and I love this little theater. Both plays I was skeptical how they would be since this is a little community theater. Yet both times I left thoroughly entertained and wanting to come back again soon. The theater is very small (somewhere between 50-150 seats) which makes it feel like you're right on stage with them and makes the experience very intimate. Both plays I went to had me laughing the entire time. They also held a charity raffle both times for two prizes a wine bottle basket and a pair of tickets to another show. They also have complementary snacks and coffee for before the show and intermission. I highly suggest paying full price on the Lamplighters site to help support the theater but if you feel the price is more than you are willing to spend you can find half priced tickets on the...

I was there for I Hate Hamlet over a week ago and loved it so much I returned the following week for one of the last performances. What a clever playwright and a wonderfully funny cast! The volunteers were very helpful (handing out will call tickets, making snacks and drinks available for a donation, offering opportunity drawing items, as well as directing us to our seats). The temperature inside was very comfortable even when it was cold and rainy outside. The seats were comfortable and there was sufficient legroom. I was also grateful for the handrail on the...

I am from out of state and have attended the Lamplighters Community Theater on 3 occasions. Loved it every time. They are all volunteers and so very committed to present a wonderful theater production. The 39 steps and Dial M for Murder were my favorites. The raffle for the beautiful basket and the raffle for two free tickets for a future production were an added bonus and so fun even if I did not win. 😁 Looking forward to attending future theater productions when I move to San Diego. I now have a new love for theater and Highly recommend Lamplighters...
