Albert's Mexican Food — Restaurant in La Puente

BEWARE: I visited this place through drive thru and the cashier at the time (a young male with no name tag) gave me SOMEONE ELSE’S DEBIT CARD! I didn’t realize it until a couple days later when I was trying to buy something at a store in person and the card kept declining. The cashier took way too long with my card and also double charged me so I wouldn’t be surprised if this guy was doing it on purpose to do a refund and pocket the money. There was also a charge on my bank account at Walmart after finding out my card was missing. When I spoke to one of the managers, Estella, she said she would call me back about the situation and never did. I gave her the info she needed from me. Date, time, what I ordered, my name and a call back number. Since no one has called me back about it I’m gonna assume this place hires PETTY THIEVES because if it was an honest mistake someone would’ve contacted me. NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN! Service here depends on who is taking your order,, otherwise their food is good ,, Breakfast Burritos, Wet Burritos are very good ,, prices are decent. Carne asada & Carnita Tacos are also tasty and good with Their green salsa makes it very delicious.their been and cheese burritos are also worth coming here alone. I've tried their Menudo,,and I was surprised how good it was compared to some other restaurants that simply use canned menudo (yuk)... I have to give props to this place,,some reviews I've looked into seem to be more hating than actually a fair review,, it's only opinions due to some of their practices of new employees needing Some training in people skills to go with proper professionalism. This place is trash. the person at night that says they’re in charge gets the order wrong I live 15-20 minutes away and all you can do is replace my order. Why not get the order right in the first place. I’m not about to waste gas just to go back. I asked for a refund and I’m told I have to bring the food back even tho I’m not going to eat it. I asked for asada fries and got adobada fries whatever tf that is. Never coming back here again. There’s like 3/4 Albert’s locations. I chose this one out of convenience.
