So this review is not for the food but for the service and lack of accommodations for those with food allergies. My daughter has been gluten free for nearly two years now. We have eaten at many, many restaurants and have never encountered such unwillingness to even try to help her find some gluten free options. If she has gluten it will make her very ill for days so it’s an allergy and not a preference. The staff was very unhelpful and basically told her she had the choice of shrimp and grits or a salad with vinegar and oil for dressing. This is ridiculous as most salad dressings are naturally gluten free. There were several menu items that looked like they should be gluten free but the staff wasn’t even willing to try and be more helpful.

We left without eating and won’t be returning. We don’t expect everyone to accommodate my daughter’s food allergy but we do expect the staff to at least try and be helpful. We have always been blessed with helpful staff who have helped my daughter to find something yummy to eat. The Labelle Brewery Company really needs to work on this area. Unfortunately there are a lot of people who are unable to eat gluten. It would serve them well to try offer some gluten free options and to educate their staff on this issue so they can be more helpful. It really isn’t that hard to do.

Again, from dealing with this issue for a while now, I can look at their menu and tell that they have several items that are probably already gluten free. Also the majority of their salad dressings are probably gluten free but they only offered oil and vinegar. If you have a gluten allergy (or probably any food allergy) this isn’t the place for you!

I am coming back here to edit my previous review based on the very kind and thoughtful response from Labelle Brewing Company. I really appreciate such a humble response and have added one star to my review as a result. Let us know when you guys get some more gluten friendly menu items and we will definitely come back and hopefully be able to change my review to be more complimentary. I will be looking...

Food was just okay. I got basic burger with onion rings. The onion rings must be fried in the same oil as their fish. They tasted fishy. The tomato was mealy and soggy. It turned my bun into a wet blob that fell apart. My husband got the smash burger and fries. Both were good. The service, however, was disappointing. When we arrived another customer stopped to talk to us. We had not approached the hostess stand. The hostess never smiled but kept asking if we were ready to sit. She seemed put out that we had stopped. We stepped aside to make sure that we weren’t blocking the entry way and let others approach the hostess. After our 5-minute conversation we stepped up and were ready to be seated. The hostess never smiled or asked us to follow her. She just walked off and set our menus at a table and walked off again. We were several steps behind her. Our waitress was pleasant, but through no fault of hers, her tables were spread out and little attention was given. The person who brought our food was rude. There was no ketchup on the table and I asked if I could have some. She made a face and walked off. We waited long-enough that my husband was able to eat almost half of his food. He got up and went to the door near the kitchen and asked the same lady for ketchup. Instead saying oops, I forgot, she asked in a snarky tone who are server was. My husband said that he didn’t catch her name and didn’t see her. She then took a few seconds to get the ketchup. By the time I was able to finally eat my burger it was cold. we were finishing up (me only eating the dry part of my burger) our server showed up with refills of soda (our glasses were empty for some time). I let her know that we were leaving and my husband asked for a go cup, which she quickly brought. I can tolerate mediocre food if the staff is friendly. Unfortunately…that was...

We usually love LaBelle brewing company and usually bring all of our out-of-town guests there to have dinner with us however, when we visited on May 25th we had a horrible experience. Our server Alexis s had no personality whatsoever. It's like she was a robot going through the motions, very impersonal, not one iota a friendliness or a smile. Service was severely lacking. We had the fajitas. My husband had the steak and I had the chicken. The peppers and onions are usually seasoned with Mexican seasonings but these tasted like they were marinated in vinegar. You couldn't eat one without puckering up! It was nasty. You don't want vinegar vegetables on your fajitas. The chicken was extremely dry and tasteless. I had one fajita loaded with the peppers and onions and tasted that something was way off. I couldn't eat anymore of those vegetables. I ate a bit more of the chicken slathered in sour cream and salsa, but it didn't help much. The day after, I couldn't get more than 20 feet away from the bathroom. It did a number on me. The steak had a bit more flavor but was loaded with fat and gristle. I was never offered a refill in my tea, I had to ask for it. My husband was never offered a second beer. When we asked for a doggie box Alexis brought one but no bag to put it in. We had to go ask the hostess for one, and wait while she retrieved one, meanwhile , our server was standing around in the kitchen yacking. Another sore point is when it's time to pay, your card is put in the machine at your table and the server stands there, hovering over you, while you're trying to calculate the tip and such. I over tipped Alexis and regretted it. LaBelle brewing company, we will give you another chance but if we have a duplicate bad experience we...

Great atmosphere, fantastic food, and excellent house brews are available here in a very pleasant atmosphere. You'll find plenty of seating both indoors and out. The bar deals out perfect pours at fine prices, while the kitchen rolls out food of some of the highest quality you'll find in and out of Hendry county. Personally, I enjoyed their house red and witbier, but I sampled their citrus ale, and found it delicious. A friend of mine sang the praises of their IPA. My wife tried their spinach salad and was very pleased by the perfection of the produce and generosity of toppings, while I relished the firecracker burger, which actually lived up to its name: Spicy, heaped with bacon, cheese, hot peppers, a delicious burger patty, and firecracker sauce. The fries were fresh, crisp, and well-seasoned. One of my friends had a crab cake sandwich of one variety of another and he was thrilled with the flavor and texture. Not many people come through the small town of LaBelle, but some local favorites have been going downhill since being purchased by less concerned parties from outside of the area. This establishment is holding down the fort for quality, if only for the moment. I have heard that Buckingham Farms may be leaving, so the effect remains to be seen. When I went, the quality was a good match for the slightly elevated price.

This place is great! We sat outside and had Bianca as a server. The food was amazing and our server was great! Super friendly and our drinks never ran dry. The Scottish Ale was probably my favorite and it wasn’t even on the menu. Bianca told us about it. It’s called 90 Shillings. If you like Scottish ales ask for this! The other beers were great! My wife and I tried the brown ale and it was a little more coffee then hazelnut. Captain Hendry was my other favorite beer. It’s a DIPA (Double India Pale Ale) which is one of my favorite things to drink and it was great! I haven’t even gotten started on the food. The pretzel with the beer cheese was good but the pierogi ruskie was ridiculous!! First off, you had me at applewood smoked bacon but I will be back for this dish! It was amazing! Great beer and food and that isn’t even the nachos or the fries that the table next to us got that also looked ridiculously amazing. We will be back for them and the amazing beer and definitely getting the pierogis again! Cheers and see you soon!

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for lunch & adult liquids. This is a busy place! In this small town away from the coast, being a restaurant and brewery is the way to insure survival. From noon - 4pm on Sunday it's an abbreviated menu for brunch. At 4 pm food trucks roll in. Kitchen is open Tuesday - Saturday. The boy, my designated driver, got the chicken & waffles, I went with the Cowboy hash skillet. Food was quite good, the chicken was great, the waffles less so, kind of dry. Skillet was fine & filling. The service is terrific, very friendly, real smiles everywhere. A bit loud with the lack of sound absorbing materials but very open, airy & well-lit. The beer was really good. The Oak Grove hazelnut brown ale stood out in a strong crowd. And a Swing Bridge Stout 6-pack went home with me. Also, a shout out for the environmentally friendly parking. Gravel, but with a metal mesh that keeps it in place so it doesn't fill with holes/ruts. Smooth like concrete w/o the problems.
