Black Cat Coffee House — Restaurant in Lafayette

I visited Black Cat Cafe for the first time today, and I have to say, I was really impressed! From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch the barista greeted me warmly and had my cold brew ready in no time. I really appreciated how quick and efficient everything was. The drink itself was fantastic, and the atmosphere was perfect for both relaxing and getting some work done.

The space was also incredibly clean, and I noticed something that really stood out. During some downtime, one of the baristas came to the front door and cleaned it such an intentional touch that made the cafe feel even more welcoming. It was clear this wasn’t just an end of day duty but a thoughtful effort to maintain a great environment.

I especially loved the variety of seating options! Whether you’re in the mood to relax on a comfy lounge chair with friends or need a productive spot with a table and high chair, this place has it all. Definitely looking forward to...

Great coffee!!!! Easily 5 stars for this coffee cafe !! Love the location! Beautiful interior setting, big and spacious, you can chill, relax or even study here. Decorated nicely as well. The coffee came out hot and delicious, I like that they already have specialty coffee flavor mixes on the menu, only drawback on the coffee is I wish they’d use locally roasted coffee beans. What a sweet place with delicious coffee and incredible service! We’re not from Lafayette and we had some time to kill late one Saturday afternoon here. We randomly found this gem and I’m so glad we did!

My big family is a lot and our kids were messy with the muffins. The lady helping us behind the counter was kind, patient, gracious and even gave all of us samples of the frozen Pink Panther (which we highly recommend!)

It was just a moment of serendipity and yummy coffee....
