heard goodings about Fat Pat's and tried it today for the 1st time made a take out order at the bar and didnt get my food after 45 minutes, but in the meantime i had two beers, the guy next to me, a REGULAR customer, ordered 1 minute before me, got served, ate his meal, still nothing for me. another guy, also a REGULAR, made a take out order after me, you guessed it he got his, and still no sign of mine. my order was a plain cheesburger and a plain hotdog and fries - nothing fancy; i actually made the mistake of clearing out my tab when i ordered, and gave the server a 25+% tip - should have waited! Moral to the story: either stay away if you're not a regular or dont close out your tab until you've actually received what you ordered. also note this place is a bit pricey $22 and change for my order with one draft beer (two for one). Got so aggravated I left without my order and I wont be going...

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant!! Me and my boyfriend walk in and was greeted by the bartender “welcome and have a seat wherever you like.” We sat down and started watching the game. Five minutes pass, then 10, then 15 min pass and NO ONE has came to check on us or give us a menu or anything for that matter! The bartender continues having an inappropriate conversation with a customer about black people, mind you my boyfriend is black and he felt very uncomfortable. We decided to get up and leave and the same bartender , as she is sipping her coffee, says have a nice night ! How would you just let two paying customers walk out without trying to help us?!? They had four other people in there eating and drinking, all white customers at that! Why couldn’t we get served anything?? I will never go back to that location!!! Broussard actually cares about...

It is what it is I guess. I should have expected this but the food is bar food and not all that great.

I was in the mood for a chicken sandwich and saw the chicken bacon wrap was marked as "Pat's favorite" but I didn't even find it to be worth eating. I was expecting a fresh grilled chicken breast cut into strips and wrapped in a tortilla. But what I got was chicken that had been grilled probably earlier in the day, cut into tiny pieces, and then reheated. It was dry and unappealing. I asked for my fries with salt only, not the seasoning blend and the waitress said they could do plain fries and I could salt them myself. That is fine but they were very undercooked when they came out. My husband's sweet potato fries seemed to have salt only so I'm not sure why they couldn't also prepare regular fries the same way.
