Louisiana Crawfish Time — Restaurant in Lafayette

2021 response to owner: You cancelled our order. Per Waitr "your order has been cancelled by the restaurant" at 5:31pm and was supposed to be delivered at 6pm. We ordered at 10am. 7 and a half hours you had to notify us you wouldn't be participating with Waitr.

2021 UPDATED REVIEW : I'd give 0 stars if I could. Customer service has steadily declined. I placed an order for over $300 worth of crawfish and other foods to be delivered. They canceled my order 30 minutes before it was supposed to be delivered and now Waitr is holding my $300 "for up to 3 to 5 business days". I placed this order 8 hours ago. They canceled my order 30 minutes before it was to be delivered. The reason they gave me was "they just aren't participating with waitr today". When I asked if I could reorder they said it would be a 2-hour wait. Would not offer to move my order to the head of the line or anything. I can see why y'all are getting less and less business and people are complaining about y'all more and more. You've lost long time customers because you waited until 5:30 p.m. on a Friday to decide you weren't doing business with waiter today. Boo.

My wife and I dined at Louisiana Crawfish today for the first time. We are very sad we have never tried this great restaurant before. First Angel was our waitress and she did an outstanding job. She was there ever time we looked up to say we needed something. I never had to wait on a refill or anything. Angel you were great and very courteous. You are the restaurant’s ambassador. Now the food. The crawfish were the best we have had in the area. I cook crawfish and they were as good or maybe better. The season was spot on and I like spicy. They spice their crawfish without using some vinegar based hot sauce. I hate the taste of vinegar in my spicy crawfish. You guys rock with the way you spice. Second I consider myself a connoisseur of bread pudding. Theirs is crack. I am addicted. I just thought I made the best bread pudding and I have been making it for 30 years. Now I have to start over on my recipe. Lastly the place is spotless. You can tell they really care for their appearance to the customer. What else can I say, but dang I wished we had tried this great place before. We will patronize in the future. And again ask for Angel, she did a...

This is usually my goto place every year. First time this year the crawfish were the worst I have ever had after many times eating here. I am there for the crawfish first. Service is kind of a wash. Always courteous employees.

The last two times I have been there my entire order was screwed up. All cayenne one time, the next was no seasoning.

The first time our appetizers came out after we were half done with the crawfish. The second time we never got our appetizers.

Worst part is the second trip was because of the problems with the first trip...management/owner offered to cover our first trip's cost when we came for the second. Manager/owner stayed with our waitress until I asked where the appetizers that we ordered are. From there the manager/owner disappeared. Oh yes, I guess they forgot that they were paying for the meal because the manager/owner ducked me the rest of the time my family and I were there.

I guess it is time to find...
