Bypass this restaurant!!! I always give everything a benefits of the doubt but this restaurant is none at all to my expectations. The price is extremely HIGH. Very expensive, the quality and quantity is not worth your money. My boyfriend and I went to tried their pho for the first time and it was gross and disgusting. Hardly any noodles or meats in the bowl but both. We didn’t voiced our complaints but went head and had the thai buffet, instead. The buffet trays were most semi empty. The soups had zeros chicken pieces nor shrimps in the soup. The waitress came to our table asking for the payment for the buffet first. She also pointed to the posted sign on both sign of the buffet saying, BUFFET TIME LIMIT, 1 HOUR 15 MINUTES, OVER TIME CHARGE $10 FOR EVERY 10 MINUTES PAST TIME LIMIT. There were only three table occupied during lunch. !@#%&* And i cannot believe I had Mimi’s catered my office luncheon. Costed my company almost $800 for two main dishes and a tray of white rice. Mimi’s Fresh Asian Cuisine is stingy and there is nothing fresh about this restaurant. Everyone is better off going to Rawz Bistro in Youngsville. Tell them Tommy...
Read morePost covid the price is now 18 dollars and the food has nose dived ALL the menu items have changed even the soups. The soup they do have still is the coconut and the flavor is so watered down the noodles are slimy the food is cold and mushy the fried calamari used to be fresh and the best in town its the frozen rubber tires now. Even the sauces changed its very obvious they have a new chef and the last took his recipes with him. The fried rice with bacon is now just sautéed rice with out anything all the items are no longer there, vegetables, shrimp, chicken dishes. And the only hope is the spring rolls which the chicken they use tastes like it was cooked then sat in the fridge for a week for almost 20 dollars at least have good sweet tea .... nope tastes sour Pinon Thai is def the #1 Thai place which is sad because i always argued against that but I have to say my friends are right now which upsets me I came here for there shrimp lemongrass soup(no longer have) and the spring rolls. Im not saying dont go there just dont go expecting their old delicious food cause it is no longer the food is comparable to that buffet on pinhole in...
Read moreDrove my mom from Zachary to Lafayette to enjoy a scenic ride and takeout from one of her favorite Thai restaurants, for Mother's Day COVID-19 edition.
We ordered the beef Pho boat, papaya salad, and Thai Rice. The papaya salad was sour; the rice was edible with older soft onions but fresh bell peppers.
Now to the worst of it.....the Pho Boat was filled with spoiled meat. See the meat, in the included photo, from the beef pho boat. The meat was offered to the family dog who politely refused to eat any, very smart rat terrier.
Don't bother going to this restaurant. I wasted $40 dollars but you don't have to; it is really unbelievable they would serve this trash to anyone and expect to be paid for privilege.
Mom's the best! Mimi's is the worst....
