Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Lafayette

So i pull up at the drivethru and it was myself and my coworker and we are both white guys. We ordered chicken sandwiches regular no pickles. The black girl at the window who took my payment started singing a country song off key to insinuate that my friend and i are rednecks is how i took it. Then she turned around and told the black fella who was making the sandwiches to make them with love for these two guys in the drive thru. So he pops his head around to look at us and then goes back makes the sandwiches and personally delivers them with a smile. When we opened out chicken sandwiches there was more mayonaisse than there was chicken. We couldnt even eat them they were so saturated with mayo. We didnt pull up with country music playing, i dont have a rebel flag in my window, i wasnt disrespectful in the least bit i was actually very courteous so theres nothing that i can attribute this blatant act of racism to. I treat everyone very equally and due to that this was really appalling. My employee and i were going on a job that we would be on for the next 6 hours or so and we were counting on this meal to fuel our work that afternoon/ evening. We saved the sandwiches and had planned on bringing them back and showing them to a manager but thought better of it because if the hatred was this rampant the manager might condone this type of thing too. I just went to wendys after work and threw the sandwiches away. I sure hope and pray that this is not a trend or the norm these days. Ive just never experienced anything like this before. Waited in the drive thru line a couple of mins, but the wait was still shorter than the wait in my hometown, where they'll pull you up no matter what you order and still mess it up (or hand it out to the wrong car) and make you wait again. I grew up eating at Popeyes bc it literally was the food that got put on the table. But it began to feel like an abusive relationship. You know the one, where invested time leads to a perceived sense of obligation, albeit unrequited and unilateral, nonetheless? Or where you think it just needs a chance to show it can do better the next time around, to make up for what trust they lost, that they maybe fixed what went wrong the last time... Even though it went so wrong the last time. Started questioning myself... Maybe it was your fault because you went at a bad time... During a dinner rush...With a bad crew working...with other unforeseen circumstances? Yeah, nope. The benefit of doubt has been terminated. My local store has earned its three strikes, and with food prices so high, I can't afford to fx with them no more. Tbh, I was ready to give up on Popeyes. But admittedly, I missed the tenders. They're the good side of a bad romance... And they leave you wanting more from your box. It's indeed a mild tempered, South Louisiana blessing to have good, quick service I can count on at this Lafayette location. In fact, so far, so good at all the Lafayette stores. Not so much if you're heading...

I really didn't even want to give one star I really want to give zero Stars but I had to at least put one in order to leave a review please whatever y'all do, do not order for delivery from this place they always forget something and it's not nothing simple it's pretty much the main food this is like the third time they forgot something each time I order something they forgetting half of my meal so I will never be ordering from them again. If you do order from them go ahead and pick it up yourself so you can check your order before you leave and if you order from the app they only want to give you some points and no money back or the money that they want to give back it's not even what you paid is very ridiculous Popeyes y'all need to do a lot better at making your customers happier than what y'all are doing now. I used to work for Popeyes franchise years ago and it was never like this it's very ridiculous when I call up there and asked him to please put some Cajun sparkle and some jelly into my bag they didn't even put that and the guy that answer the phone said yes ma'am I will and every time you call and complain about something they talking about you need to go through the app it is you guys that are forgetting to put the stuff in there for whenever the people come to pick it up to deliver it to your customers so whatever y'all do please do not order for delivery from this Popeyes thanks and y'all have...
