Waffle House — Restaurant in Lafayette

We usually have the best service and food when we stop any Waffle House location. Today was the exception! My husband, mother in law and myself order our drinks and before the waitress left to get the drinks we ordered. All three of us ordered a plate but when the food comes out there are only two plates but she brought an extra order of hashbrowns which would have made you think that she knew there should have been a third plate but was too distracted to make she 1 that she had placed the order correct and 2 when the orders came out that she had an order for 3 people. So we tell her that she was missing a plate the look on her face was like she had no clue why we would want another breakfast! My husband and I had both finished our coffee and the waitress usually checks to make sure if we need more of anything but not this waitress. When we ask her for more coffee we already knew that what was left in the pot was not going to be enough for both of us so we asked for fresh coffee. She checked on the customers next to us at least 4 times. The coffee had finished brewing and we were almost finished eating and we noticed that she was just chatting away with other employees and we had to get her attention to please give us the coffee we asked for 15 minutes ago at this point! Would’ve been five stars if every employee was good. We only eat with Anthony when we come and the best cook is the lady cook with the handbrace she always cooks the best and gets the food out in time. Lady serving tonight gave horrible service did not understand what we wanted didn’t bring out all of the food all of it was warm or cold. Never got a lid for my grits. Yes i got lidless grits in a Togo cup so i just left messed up our sides and forgot friends food. She “lost our tickets” when we got our tickets We tried to tip her good because we felt bad because Were servers as well but she couldn’t even make change for us because she was flustered and not one of the 4-5 employees, including the manager, couldn’t come up to check anyone out or take any orders. So we waited for 25 minutes put cash together to tip her 10 at least since we couldn’t break a bill. They were off their game for a few days and especially tonight. Somehow Anthony and 1 other woman server are the only servers who seem to be good from the others...

My grandaughter called Waffle house store on Pinhook 2 to 3 times...called the store at 1253 am on 4-1-19 to order some breakfast for pick up...phone kept going to recording voicemail saying "we are busy assisting other customers etc...approaching the store I called the store in my car it went to the recording...1-person in the place sitting at the counter , a worker comes outside to take a smoke break and the other worker comes brings something to this lady sitting in her car...I got down about and 1:10 said I'm here to pick up a order for L. SELLERS.. Lady say no one called...I said let me call my granddaughter but I had her on the phone the whole time while speaking to lady... This lady say the phone was dead...I look at an said in my mine a play of business...ok right...so if corporate office call what are you going to tell them... but I just order my granddaughter breakfast drop it to her because she works at night...I will never ever visit store on Pinhook due to the...
