Me and my wife use to eat here regularly. My most recent experience was awful I can't speak to the quality of the food because I never received any service there was 3 people behind the counter whom all spoke to me and acknowledged my presence but never took my order two of which were doing a one person job with the soda machine I say one person because the other seemed to be just keeping the other company because she was literally holding her phone looking at it the entire time and the gentleman behind the counter seemed to not want to put gloves on since he was working the register basically they wanted each other to see to my needs and neither took any initiative I decided to sit and give them time to address me thinking maybe they had something pressing I couldn't see going on but nothing came from my patience my order was never taken I was the only customer in the store after another gentleman had left after they remade his sandwich because they fully dressed it after he only requested BBQ smh sad to see the quality of service...

My name is Phillip, I order from firehouse on a regular basis, 2-3 times a week, today I ordered the medium spicy chicken sub, they were out of medium boxes, got it in a hamburger size box, the sandwich was half the size of what it used to be and didn’t have much chicken on it, went up almost 1.50, out of curiosity I called New Iberia location, because I had gotten to be friends with Shawna in Lafayette, night manager, before going to New Iberia and to top it off, I asked the price in New Iberia of sandwich,7.66 plus tax, I paid 9.21 in Lafayette, , plus the sandwich was about a third less in size and Very smaller Portion,, Disappointing to say the least, Most of the people know me and I know a lot, especially Isaiah, he is one of the nicest guy, pleasant personality, courteous, Professional I understand prices have to go up these days, but the discrepancy in price puzzled me. I eat here pretty often and have only ever had 2 issues- both times the manager was extremely kind in rectifying the situation. Today warranted this positive review. I order through Grubhub and they didn’t have the sandwich I wanted (smokehouse brisket and cheddar) so I called the store to see what could be done because I had a gift card I wanted to use. When I got to the store- we realized there was a slight discrepancy between what they could do and what I was told. Any other time I would be upset- but the manager was so kind and explained exactly why they couldn’t do what I needed. She was so kind that I wasn’t even upset. The crew were all polite and professional even though they were obviously busy. Store was clean as per usual.
