Waffle House — Restaurant in Lafayette

eggs were practically still liquid, bacon could’ve easily been mistaken for sweet potato skins, and we didn’t even get what we ordered.

so to start off we never once got greeted. i ordered a coffee and it took him five minutes AFTER my food came out and even then the coffee was completely watered down. my HUSBAND ordered a sausage hashbrown bowl just how it comes and then Tevon (special shoutout to him for ruining our New Years breakfast) brought us a hash brown bowl with everything under the sun on it and whenever i explained to him “hey this isn’t what we ordered” he decided to start yelling at me and refused to take it back saying we “ordered it all the way”. whenever i stopped arguing and just looked at my phone he gave the loudest groan and grumbled “my god”. he continued to grumble about us the entire day. also i would like to note that the ham that was in the bowl was still bloody. that was utterly disgusting.

next up with my order i ordered a two egg breakfast with hasbrowns and bacon. he brought me a plate with cold and runny eggs, burnt toast, and grits. i told him i ordered hasbrowns and he looked so inconvenienced and gave me a half cooked plate of hashbrowns. i also asked about my bacon and he gave me a plate of what looked to be charred potato skins. i didnt even touch that monstrosity.

we paid and left and i left no tip for good reason. this entire experience was absolutely horrific and i hope that you guys take a moment to take a step back and realize just how sloppily your chef cooks and how rude your...

I'm giving five stars because you guys are just a classic favorite that I grew up on ...the OJ I just Love , yes I can get OJ from anywhere it's something about it here.I typically always order the Steak patty melt , with grilled onions on my hash browns...just gotta have it.....The grits really reminds me of my grandma's grits ....a little chunky, but smooth at the same time and just a hint of salt, might I add the slice of cheddar cheese on top ,topped off with a little sugar.....simply southern eating.....well most people from the boot know what I'm saying.......now it was to dirty ,some still dirty tables , and the floors looked a hot mess, behind the counter was a mess....maybe it was a ruff night I don't know ...but It's CO- Vid 19 , with variances we must do better in public setting ........sorry Waffle House , it's always fresh cold air and it's always been clean ...Still love...

I recently visited this Waffle House and had one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I’ve ever had. As soon as I walked in, some customers started making comments toward me that felt mocking and disrespectful. The staff didn’t maintain a professional atmosphere.

The person working — who seemed to be the cook and server — repeatedly asked, “What you got?” before I even had a chance to look at the menu. I told him I needed a moment to decide, but he kept insisting in a rude tone, which made me feel unwelcome and rushed.

At that point, I decided to leave rather than spend money somewhere that treats customers this way. I hope management takes this seriously and improves both staff behavior and overall...
