Don't let the downtown brew pub decor fool you, this is serious family-made Indian food. Like seriously good.
The AI overview recommend the garlic Naan, chicken Tikka masala and butter chicken. We got it, and all of it was fantastic. Piping hot.
They ask if you want it mild, medium or hot. My wife was happy with her mild butter chicken.
The medium Tikka masala was wonderfully spicy -- enough to get my nose running, but not so hot that it cleared my sinuses. ;)
The Naan bread was fantastic. It's practically It's own food group. Definitely order this.
The only odd thing was the spiced pickles. I wouldn't order those again.
Service was super attentive this is obviously a family-run restaurant, and they care. They gave knowledgeable recommendations for vegan/vegetarian guests.
The bar is modern and well stocked.
For entertainment, there is air hockey and 2 pool tables, plus a jukebox. Apparently, they have pool leagues, so this is great if that's your bag.
They did a steady stream of takeout orders, and all the tables looked happy.
Street front parking is somewhat limited, but we found a spot nearby.
If you are a local, definitely make this a go-to place.
If you are passing through, stop by like we did.
It's worth it.
The only reason I downgraded the atmosphere is that there is little/no Indian decor... it is incongruous with the bar vibe.
Note: they do have American bar food, too, we just...
Read moreWe had such a great experience at this Indian restaurant in Cassopolis, Michigan. We tried the chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The tikka masala was rich, creamy, and full of authentic Indian spices, while the tandoori chicken was perfectly grilled with that classic smoky flavor you can only get from a traditional tandoor oven.
You can tell this place puts love and tradition into every recipe. The flavors were bold and balanced, the portions generous, and the ingredients tasted fresh. This is easily one of the best spots for authentic Indian food in southwest Michigan.
Whether you’re looking for Indian takeout, a cozy dine-in restaurant, or just craving some amazing Indian curry, this place is worth the drive. It’s a perfect choice for families, date night, or anyone wanting real, flavorful Indian cuisine close to home. Definitely a new favorite for anyone in Cass County, Dowagiac, or Edwardsburg.
We’ll absolutely be coming back for more — I already have my eye on the butter...
Read moreI went here on a Wednesday afternoon and it was pretty dead, maybe a total of 3 tables. We were greeted and served quickly. I ordered the paneer tika and my dining partner ordered the chicken tika.
We were shocked when our food came out so fast in 10 minutes! Turns out it was not our food but the other tables. This seems like a silly mistake when there was only 3 tables to begin with.
When we got our actual food it was good. Nothing stellar. My pieces of paneer were large, the sauce was ok, and the rice was rice. There is nothing super special about the food in my opinion but also nothing wrong with it! Since there’s no other options for Indian food in cass, this is your place. The service needs a little improvement but other to a that a solid spot for lunch.
Prices are a bit high but international cuisine Typically has dishes starting at $16 on up so not unusual...
