K pocha — Restaurant in LaGrange

The food was decent, though quite pricey. I found myself comparing it to restaurants in Korean Town in the Atlanta area—perhaps this is just the going rate in the LaGrange area.

Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. An 18% service charge was added to our bill for a party of five, without any prior notice or explanation. To make matters worse, the receipt listed our group as a party of eight, which may have been used to justify the charge. There was no clear communication about this, and no visible notification. My second visit at this out-of-way restaurant. Very good food, service, and friendly staff. Today, I let them decide my meal. I was served a nice Jjajangmyeon with fresh noodles made in house. After my meal, the owners noticed my vehicle/home, I live in a 4-window skoolie, they were very interested and thus lead to some good conversation and them getting a "tour" of the home. Might as well not bother if you're not Korean. Use a translator app on their specials board. Staff paid little to no attention to us. The pricing compared to the quality of the food is ridiculous. They only served us water to drink after we asked about drink options. She did not answer us, just brought us water. The kimchi was great though and the dumplings weren't half bad. Oh and stay away from glass noodles unless you like...
