I have been coming to this establishment for about 20 years, and getting blizzards in all different sizes even the Lg, yes it is a bit difficult, but not impossible to get the blender to mix EVERYTHING together esp. When paying for double candy charges $8 for a Med with Ex candy and it is still mediocre. I have never had this problem when Don Callaghan owned it, now under new management and they do not train their new employees to care for the customers needs, it is well of excuses I get from several different managers. I used to work here and the way how they put their goods out would never be tolerated when I worked there. The woman manager on duty sent somebody else to do her job, the man was kind but he even said that they have been getting a ton of complaints for the same reaosn. Well if itsa continual problem why arent they fixing it?! This is the 3rd time this has happened. I am so Done! I live on the Southside, but at this rate I would rather spend my $ at Culver's who can MIX a decent Concrete Shake and to spend...
Read moreSuper disappointed. Went to DQ about 330ish today. The speaker on the drive through was hard to hear what the young man was saying and I assumed he had trouble hearing me. There was a car that was pulling around to the window as we waited to give our order. I ordered a small Reese's blizzard and a medium chocolate dipped cone. We pulled around front and the car in front of us was still at the ordering window. We waited for about 10 minutes (enough time to listen to 2 full songs on the radio). The young man gave me my blizzard and it melted to the point it was almost like a milk shake. Then he left and I assumed he was making the cone. Nope. He returned about a minute later with a medium cookie dough blizzard that was also melted like a milkshake. We looked at our receipt and that was what our receipt said so he heard our order wrong. Instead of going through the hassle of refunding the blizzard and ordering the cone, we just took the blizzard and left. We...
Read moreMy wife and I ordered here today and we both regret it immensely. I ordered a 1/2lbs flamethrower burger, and she had a 4pc chicken strip basket. When I unwrapped my burger, even with my terrible since of smell, I could immediately tell my burger was spoiled. That sickly sweet smell filled the car. The burger looked nearly green and the lettuce looked brown.
Regretfully, my wife had already eaten a handful of her fries before I observed the awful state of my burger. My wife knowing that i was hungry, offered me some of her chicken strips with the quip "who could mess up chicken strips?" Apparently this dairy queen can and did.
When my wife and I returned home, she was vomiting for over a half an hour, while I was fighting to stay out of the bathroom (and I only had a single chicken strip). The only thing that wasn't abhorently disgusting were the sodas.
I would rather eat nothing than go anywhere near this place again. AVOID...
