I recently stopped by Dino's and ordered a sausage pizza. The crust was super thin. The outer pieces were crisp and firm. The center pieces didn't hold up and had to be folded in half in order to pick up and eat. The sauce was a little bit sweet and had a good flavor. The sausage was decent. The cheese basically ruined the pizza. The cheese had a strange flavor and was kind of clumpy. This pizza could have been good, but the cheese ruined it.

Worth searching among the Randall Road construction. The kitchen has a talent beyond pizza so don’t limit yourself on the menu . Definitely a neighborhood place as welcoming as if you walked from home. There is delivery but the real cost is the place that treats you like a regular.

Ordered Dino’s tonight . They nailed it, crust was thin and crispy, sauce was zesty, cooked perfectly. Honestly this will be my new place when ordering pizza. It’s so hard to find good pizza in the Algonquin area but this is it!!! 5 stars all the way!!

Update 2 (2024): We moved to North Carolina about 2 years ago but we've come back to Illinois a few times since. Each time we make it a point to get Dino's pizza because it is fantastic! Not only is the food amazing, so are the owners! We just ate there last night and we're going to order again Friday. It's something that we look forward to every visit. If you haven't tried Dino's yet, don't wait, order it for dinner tonight. Make sure you order extra for that late night snack (yes, it's delicious cold also).

Update 1 (2019): I have an update on my original review. I didn't think things could go bad... and I was right! The pizza is just as good, or better, than the first time we tried it. Dino's hasn't just raised the bar, they've blown away the scale. I don't consider myself a pizza expert. I just eat a lot of pizza (usually from Dino's) and I believe that they are by far the best pizza around! If you haven't already tried it, do so! I encourage you to go in, see the owner (Dino?), play some slots and enjoy the pizza!

Original (2018): We tried Dino's for the first time last night and it was amazing! The sauce they make has a strong tomato flavor but is excellent when posted with the cheese used. The price is right where it should be.

We ordered one sausage pizza and one pepperoni pizza; I'm usually prefer pepperoni pizza but this sausage pizza was awesome! The pizza isn't overly greasy, it is still pizza after all.

Oh, and the mozzarella sticks... Amazing!

The short is, I don't know if I can eat pizza anywhere else without wishing it was...

First-timer here.

The pizza is everything you want in a tavern-style Chicago thin crust. Actually, you may not even know you want it this much. But, as they say, "if you know, you know". And I can triumphantly say that I now "know".

The crust is crunchy and well-leavened. It has air pockets distributed throughout, so it holds up while you eat, and even stays crunchy. The ratios of ingredients are spot on. Not too much or too little of anything. Also not too greasy. The sauce is homemade. And if it's actually not? Well they certainly have me fooled.

Not to be understated are the personalities of the employees. Are they family? Because they sound like they might be family. The guy who answered the phone was casual, very friendly, polite, and had a great sense of humor. They weren't super busy, so they actually delivered to me, even though we are a little bit outside their normal delivery area.

Great stuff all around, will most definitely be back. Likely multiple times. May even become a...

I was really excited to try somewhere new and they seemed to have great prices. I saw the great reviews and decided to try it. Myself and my whole family was disappointed. We ordered large fries that were $5.50..which is very pricey compared to other restaurants the bag was HARDLY FILLED.!!!The side salad had no olives which is why i ordered it in the first place. The ravioli was a very small helping. The steak sandwich was decent, it was like a shaved steak sandwich with vegetables but hardly any cheese, the breading wasn't great and the whole thing after a while was just too salty. The taste of everything was just mediocre , I'm sorry. I had high expectations with the ratings. ANd Im honestly most upset about the fries.

Normally people would call and complain before doing a review but I don't like bothering with confrontation, thats just not me. I just don't plan to order again. My family's Friday dinner...
