Cathedral Coffee — Restaurant in Lake Oswego

I live down the street from this cafe and since it has opened it quickly has become a staple in the rhythm of our lives. One story in particular stands out to me. I went to the cafe to buy my 8 year old daughter a croissant and get coffee for myself. The day before, my daughter had fainted and I had to take her to the emergency room. The barista working that day asked me how it was going and I told him the story of the day before. He offered a cookie to my daughter on the house after hearing about her ordeal. Wish I could give more stars, especially for service.

Matthew seemed to lead with connection, asking questions and seeming to intuit what would make my experience even better and then doing it.

He made above and beyond look easy and feel natural, and that takes real skill.

The coffee was amazing and pastries were lovely too, which is always good!

It's clear that Cathedral cares deeply about what they do, and they do it really well. 11/10 could not...

Experienced the opening day at Cathedral Coffee. Interior is clean and decor is based on simple design elements.

Companion ordered a pumpkin spice latte. Pretty foam art but the coffee was bitter. The pumpkin spice flavor wasn't overly sweet.

I ordered a chai latte which didn't have latte art. The flavor was unremarkable and slightly more watery than I preferred.
