1st time & I hate to say this bc great food places only get busier. Carnitas will stand up against other top rated around, my new spot. I hear when they run out they run out. These so good ordered menudo. Good menudo hard to find this is really great menudo. Extras: home made tortillas big size if it couldn't get better, very fresh. A bit expensive for doz but worth it. Chips & salsa fresh. All was fresh. Staff friendly & helpful. The down but not really is place a bit small bc they get crowded can see a 2nd or larger spot in future. Taqueria carnitas estilo Michoacan kis a hidden masterpiece. They have two options for their to go Carnitas. A 38.99 and 49.99. 2lbs of meat thqt you choose from. Fat and bones are optional. Los Chepes has amazing food, and they are very kind people. Ive tried many places in Chicago, and they have fantastic food, probably the best. The Carnitas are very tender, the Al Pastor is so delicious. I think its the best Pastor I have had. The handmade tortillas make the food even better, and the tacos aer huge. I will continue to go to this restaurant where they value their customers and take pride in their delicious recipes. 10/10,...
