Mr J Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Lake Township

I used to enjoy this place. They used to have really good seasoned breading. I stopped in today and not only did they stop accepting credit cards they have an atm inside their facility and they are cash only. Super inconvenient. Placed an order for the cat fillets and medium shrimp. Super disappointed in te way it taste. No seasoning especially if you tell them light lemon pepper which all salt anyway. The shrimp was over cooked and the catfish was not catfish probably swai. Fries were ok. I stopped going here and went to Jb’s on 79th st. Too bad they are gone. I’ll never come back. Nothing on their menu has changed except for their prices. I’ll go to captain...

Been going here for years! Chicken is fye, fire whichever way but it’s good. Unfortunately I won’t be buying no more. Last night went called in it was too late had to come in and order. All I asked was may I have for fries ( I knew the chicken was going to be hot) the cashier was very nice she said sure! The cook first of all phone in one had sandwich in the other scrolling! Bites the sandwich throws it on the counter where they sauce the chicken picked up chicken with same hand as he was eating and places it in the basket to fry! No glove no handwash or nothing. I politely asked for my money back won’t EVER SEE ME AGAIN MADE ME SICK...

I order 50 wings for $37 today got home and there's no bread or fries in the pan and one mild sauce container. I call back to see why I didn't get at least some bread and the ratchet chick that work in there had the nerve to get Smart over the phone after I tried to be nice and polite to her and ask about the food. When this's the same ugly bad weave wearing girl that just took my order. I live too far to come back so this is my first and last time coming here. Kennedy's the best chicken and fish place to go to but listening to my husband I came here instead. Black folks wonder why we don't support black...
