We have frequented this establishment a few times over the last year. They have a good beer selection, the food is tasty and prices are reasonable. There is spacious outdoor seating that is covered and can be enclosed . Wide open space and picnic tables for outdoor seating as well, with room for the kids to play and run in the large green space. There is plenty of indoor seating as well. A copious amount of televisions allow you to catch the game of your choice from any table. The service from our waitress was outstanding . The one area for improvement is the host , who may be the owner. He was not in the best of moods when he created our family of four. Regardless of the circumstances that may have soured his temperament for the day, he made us feel as if he could care less if we were there. My wife asked if we could sit outside at the picnic tables so that the kids could run and play and not be a bother to anyone. He did not even look up from the hostess stand and just huffed / laughed and said no. He gathered a few napkins and menus and took off walking , not speaking a word or looking or way to indicate he wanted us to follow. Albeit the front of the restaurant was a hectic place as the line of people to get in was getting long. The gentleman walked through a door at the end of the restaurant leading to the outside. By that time a few people had gotten in between us and we were about 30 feet behind him. We lost sight of him as he walked out the door. He didn’t bother to hold the door for anyone behind him or to even look to see where we were. We exited the main dining area and saw him standing at a table with his hands on his hips as he pointed to the table and walked away. During our meal I saw him frustrated with the staff and they shared a mutual look of frustration when interacting with him. Overall the restaurant is a good enough to go back , but if the gentleman greeting us at the door is still there with the same lackluster demeanor , we probably won’t be coming back. That is a shame because it’s nice to have a local place , but these days a smile goes a long way to make you feel...

This was a last-minute dinner idea as traffic took out our primary. We thought it would be a closer option on the way home. Sure, it was closer, but I had no idea that this road gets so congested after 4:30 pm. Be sure to consult your traffic app before attempting this place.
It’s a pub so be aware that the noise level is going to be higher than you would expect at a restaurant. They do have a large outdoor area for big groups which is partially covered. It had started to rain when we arrived so chose the inside option. There is a long bar with a tv flashing the beer listings. We arrived during the happy hour, but since we were both driving, we passed on the beer. I really want to try the blackberry lemonade ale… YUM.
We started off with the buffalo chicken egg rolls and OMG. So Good! I could have just eaten those as an entrée. The chicken has a paste like consistency, but it has the right level of buffalo flavor that you completely miss that.
Our server arrived with food. I had the philly while The Man had a specialty burger but can’t remember the name. To his credit, they do have a long list of burgers. He liked the garlic aioli which they put on the side with his house chips. He also admitted that it was a burger but not a standout. The Philly wasn’t the best, I will admit. Part was shaved and part was chunky. I don’t know if it was left over steak, but it was a little tough. I’m picky about cheesesteak but I still try to find one that is yummy.
Since we were both out of sorts due to the entrees, we chose the caramel cheesecake. Very Good. It has the sweet from the caramel whipped together with the silky texture of the cheesecake.
Our server was tip top!!! She was bringing us new glasses when ours got to the halfway mark. She was moving quick but we never got the hated rushed feeling. Excellent!!!
All in all, it was a good experience. The crowds were coming in when we got there and when we left. It is obviously very popular and spacious for people to move around. We may go back but not during...
Read moreAs you can tell by the full parking lot and sometimes lines to get in, Copper Premium Pub is quite popular in Lake Wylie! After visiting, you’ll see why very quickly! First off, it’s the best place for craft beer in Lake Wylie. They have 30 taps of local and fine craft beers from across the country. Some of the taps are seasonally rotated so it’s not just the same old stuff (SOS) every time. They also have a full bar and make some very nice cocktails! Now for the food. The food is nothing short of outstanding! I have been here many times and everything that I have ever ordered was fabulous! A couple I will mention is the redneck eggrolls, crabcakes, burgers and Chicken Marsala. The Red Neck Eggrolls are filled with Collard Greens and Tasso ham! The crab cakes are some of the best around! (And yes, I have had crab cakes in Maryland many times.) They make some really mean burgers for sure. Now for the Chicken Marsala. That was one of my mother‘s signature dishes. I really hate to say this but Copper Premium Pub’s chicken marsala is even better than my mothers was! Actually, it’s the best that I have ever had including fancy Italian restaurants in New York, Boston and elsewhere! In summary: this place...
