Cali Rose 15 Kitchen — Restaurant in Lakeland

While the ambiance and the menu had a lot of promise, my visit was ruined by a significant delay in both drinks and food.

First, the drinks: I ordered several cocktails, and unfortunately, each one took over 30 minutes to arrive. While the drinks themselves were good, the long wait was frustrating and really affected the overall vibe of the evening. We ordered 2 drink towers and NEVER received them, yet we saw one sitting at the bar UNTOUCHED our entire visit.

As for the food, it took even longer – almost an hour – to arrive, which was disappointing. The dishes, once they finally came, were flavorful showing that the kitchen has a lot of potential. However, the timing issues seriously impacted the overall dining experience. I intended to order french fries as a side, but was told they won’t be served until after 6p…someone was eating french fries around 5:30p.

That said, I do believe this restaurant has potential. The staff was friendly, and the food quality, when it finally arrived, showed promise. With better attention to service speed, I think this could be a great spot. I’m hopeful they can work out these kinks and offer a more seamless experience...

0/10—ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE! The busboy was beyond rude, which made me decide not to leave the waitress a tip. The service was ridiculously slow, the drinks were disgusting, and the overall experience was a complete disaster. I came in trying to support a Black-owned business, but this was nothing short of a joke.

To top it all off, when I asked the busboy for a to-go tray, he had the audacity to respond, “For two wings?” Excuse me?! I was shocked that a staff member would speak to a paying customer like that. When I questioned him and asked, “Are you serious?” he doubled down, saying, “I feel like you’re trying to pick now and you’re being petty.”

Unbelievable. The level of disrespect was out of control. If this is how they treat their customers, they won’t be in business for long. Save your money and go somewhere that actually values...

I drove 2 hours to go eat at this place and was seated after a brief time. When we were seated we was told the kitchen was in an uproar and all food orders were on hold till the caught up. We asked do they know appx how long and were to not that long. So we placed our drink order. Drinks were good tho. 30 min passed no waiter came back or nothing we started seeing ppl getting food that came after us. We proceeded to be patient and wait me and other couple that came in same time had same waitier that never came back. 1 hour had passed by and still no waiter came back . We go up went to the bar and expressed how unhappy we were paid for the drinks and me and the other couple walked out because seemed like our waitrer ghosted us. Very upset about how we...
