Why I'm giving this PH 2🌟's instead of 1 is beyond any reasonable explanation, so I won't even try. Well, I just went to pick up the pizza I ordered & didn't even get to pick it up. I've wanted to try & see 👀 how was I going to like PH stuffed crust for the first time. I'm not crazy about there sauce or dough but I w/ the cheese it might make the whole thing come together. After ordering it online, I noticed that I was being overly charged so I said, that I would pay @ the store instead of putting my CC # in; & am I glad I did, & here is why. When ordering they were offering a deal for a LG pizza 🍕 w/ 2 toppings for $7.99. So I thought, that sounds good & if I don't like it then no great loss. I choke it down & know that there pizza hasn't changed in the 20 plus years since I had a slice of there's. So here is what I ordered, a LG pizza $7.99 w/ a stuffed crust $2. extra (reasonable) $9.99 Reg amt of sauce, & extra cheese again an extra $2, however, we don't like meat on pizza so & the vegetables they offered didn't appeal to us, so we chose the xtra chz as our 1st topping & mushrooms as our 2nd. So I thought, but after I stated that I was over charge on the site & they said I no U weren't, I said, well, the extra chz was our 1st toppings & the shrums was our 2nd. Oh the look that came over that employee's face, 1st straightening their Green Bay hat then tilting their head ever so slightly as to say to me, U foolish, foolish man. Explaining further, by sticking their arm out w/ their hand upside down & cupped, while shaking it back & forth as if she was personally spreading the cheese over the pizza herself while saying to me so seriously "no, that's not a topping we already give you that on the pizza. If you want more you have to pay for it, it's not a topping. Sadly I knew that it would be a waste of my time to explain to them the concept of what she had said. So I smiled said that I was sorry, but I I choose my toppings & will not be picking up the pizza. Read moreI would give a zero if I could. Several times I have tried to call to order a pizza that they promised to me because of a previous error. The store does not answer the phone. When I finally got through the man who answered was annoyed that I called and couldn’t believe that I was asking if I had reached the local store. The previous error was due to a third-party delivery group which never delivered my pizza. The error today was also a third-party delivery, DoorDash and they sent me a message saying they had handed the pizza directly to me. I never received it. Hector from DoorDash said he left it where the GPS told him to leave it even though on the app he said he handed it directly to me. I called DoorDash corporate and they tried to get a hold of Pizza Hut to get me another pizza. The store at 1362 Ariana St. in Lakeland has the DoorDash phone number blocked so that they don’t have to answer the phone calls or complaints. I called Pizza Hut corporate to express the significant issues in this location. The person I spoke with at corporate was extremely pleasant but when he was unable to place the order for me or to reach anyone at the location y phone he was forced to explain that the store in Lakeland has Pizza Hut’s corporate office blocked from inputting any orders into their system. The representative was extremely apologetic that he Connor give me any type of voucher or coupon so that I could place the order myself. My only recourse is to go directly to the store to place the order… completely ignoring the fact that I wanted a pizza delivered during the football game. I only got to see 3 plays of the entire game because of all of the phone calls that I had to make. The corporate representative did send an email on my behalf but there is no guarantee that the District Manager will contact me about this situation.
DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THIS STORE!!!!
The owner/operator clearly does not care if you receive your order or if you like it either.
On a positive note if you need a job as a driver they can hire you unless they really care less…

Read moreI've only used this Pizza Hut three times. The first time was delivery. It took 50 min to deliver our pizza. The second was also delivery. It has been an hour so I decided to call and they said it was two hours. No one called me to inform but then told me the driver was on their way. We waited another 15 min even though we live less than five minutes away and our food was gross. Very cold like it had been sitting for half an hour. Tonight I decided to try one more time but carry out. When I got there the door was locked. Myself and one other guest knocked on the door several times and he rudely make gestures to go to the drive through. No problem. I drove around and sat at the window for 5 minutes. No one even looked my way. I pressed the button and a young man came over about a minute later, looked at me like I was lost and asked what I needed. I immediately asked for the manager and explained the situation. All she would do was say "I'm sorry" and instantly changed the subject to what the order name was. I asked for more dressing and she rudely said it would be extra, which was fine. I got my food and finally left. I will not be back to...
