I would love to give this local place 5 stars, but sadly two aspects hold me back. First, the menu on the wall does not give any indication to the size coffees available nor are there any descriptions of the ingredients in their various named coffees or lunch menu items so you will either need to take a gamble or ask a lot of questions. I did the latter. However, when there is a line this dialogue can delay the process and lengthen the wait time. The second aspect is that there are not any prices listed. I was a little confused when I looked on the wall and didn’t see prices so I grabbed a paper menu and found no prices there either. However, I wasn’t on a budget so I just took a gamble on prices since I was already asking so many questions about the menu. If you’re on a budget, the lack of pricing transparency might make you nervous. As to the other aspects - clean and tidy. The food was delicious. The espresso is okay. They use a machine that grinds the beans and pulls the espresso shot automatically. I’m not sure if it’s the automatic machine or the beans they are using but I found the latte I got to be weak. I got the 16 oz which has two shots so if you ask for an extra shot (3rd) it may be stronger, but then again it’s not clear how much that would cost. I’ll be back from time to time as it was a nice environment and good lunch, but I hesitate to give a full recommendation because of the lack of price transparency and the need to ask so many menu questions.

No more going to Otherlands or The Hub. I found a gem out in Lakeland, TN. ***I will do an update *** So I have come here repeatedly, the staff are very amazing and wonderful, the only downside is is the cost, yes I’m very much aware of the price i spend here, but it’s just now hitting. So for a sandwich and coffee it’s a little over $20 and plus a $4 tip it comes out to a little under $30. When I go to Otherlands, it’s about 1/2 that. This place is cleaner, but have also noticed that both places come with the nagging fruit flies trying to make camp on your food, arms and face. The joys of having and selling fresh food. To close again— staff are top notch. The owner or hiring manager did an amazing job and to the staff you’re all commended. I would hire all of you to teach a seminar on costumer service and how to construct engaging conversations and making guest feel welcomed.

I was really hoping to love this local cafe but was unimpressed. Ordered the caprese panini, which itself was not bad, but the fruit cup was so sad looking- would have been better to not even include it (the picture included is how the fruit cup came). The pasta salad was a $3 up charge but it seemed to be pasta with just bottled Italian dressing on it. They don’t do refills on ice tea which was very surprising for a dine in lunch spot and given the tea is $3.75, seems like they could give you at least one refill. I’ll consider coming back to try a coffee drink but I but don’t plan to have lunch here again. My meal cost $21 and was not a good value for that price. Disappointing because the location is convenient and it’s pretty spacious and bright inside.

Was really hoping to love this place! It has potential. Few tweaks and it would be AMAZING!!!

Couple suggestions: The up charges on food items is way too much. A regular latte is $5.95 and if you add syrup and can’t have dairy so you have to swap milk they will charge you $1 for every thing you add. Nowhere on the menu do they mention the up charges or even prices. I ended up with a $9.50 mediocre latte. That was kind of disappointing as I can get a latte at Starbucks with all those tweaks for cheaper and better.

Food is great!! The up charges again are too much. Over priced! Everything you add or change out you will be charge $1-3 for.

The couches were made for giants and are very uncomfortable. Im a taller than normal person and my feet won’t even touch the ground when I sit on it. I watched several people sit down and move because it wasn’t comfortable. They only have high top seating everywhere which makes this challenging when you have kids. None of the seating is comfortable in the space and it’s all very outdated… and makes you not want to stay long. I think seating in a coffee shop is so important!!! This place could be happening and buzzing if it was comfortable to sit.

So much potential with this location! Hopefully they make...

I rarrrely do negative reviews. If I'm being honest, I love this place. But since i've been coming, things have seemingly gotten more expensive. There can be some inconsistencies in prices and food and it sucks because I even have my church friends/family coming here. We meet here sometimes as well. The Avocado toast has changed since i first started getting it and the new excuse is that the avocados aren't ripe. So even though the avocado toast has changed, you still pay the same price for less quality avocado they used to get. Today I got a medium white mocha and payed $8 for it. I was charged a $1 for the white chocolate flavor and that seemed a lot. I went to order a cranberry muffin and learned it was $4(not including tax). It was a smaller one and she told me they were all the same price, even the bigger ones. So for a medium hot coffee and a small muffin, my total was going to be a little over $12, which is crazy. I love local small business coffee shops over big name brands. I make it a point to try most in my city and I loved this place because it was so close to us but I think I'm just going to have to drive a little further to Crave or drive all the way to Comeback...
