McDonald's — Restaurant in Lakeland

No. Nothing has changed. My review still stands. Still one if the worst locations to visit. Would not recommend even though it may seem close, go to the Thononasa location instead.

The only reason I come to this location is because it is right around the corner from my house. Seriously EVERY SINGLE TIME I come to this location, there is ALWAYS a PROBLEM! The words I want to put here might get reported or shock some of you slow minded employees so I'm going to try to keep this pg. The only good part about this trip was the man taking my order and payment, he was fantastic, maybe they should promote him to management. He showed fantastic customer service, but of course there is no name of the cashier on my receipt. The bad part, let's start from the top. After paying I waited for what seemed like 5 mins behind the car before me. When I finally get to the pickup window, I see the blue freeze drink I ordered for my child's happy meal already melting in a bigger cup than what I asked for. I make a comment saying, "Oh wow, is that for my order?" I was told that it was and I said, "That is not the correct size I asked for." The white lady in the pink shirt asked what seemed to be the manager to get the correct size and the manager was trying to force me to take that already melted one in the wrong size cup. Then she chucked it angerly in the trash after I kept saying no and that is wasn't the right size. Finally after receiving my meal and asking if the correct sauces were in there, which that is completely hard for them to comprehend because I DID NOT RECEIVE THE RIGHT SAUCE, she handed me my blue freeze and my meal and try to send me on my way. I say, " hold up, what about my happy meal?" She hands me the happy meal, with the wrong/no sauce as well. After about having enough with them I about leave, then getting to the road I realized they never handed me my drink for my meal. So of course I had to pull back up to the window to receive it. This location is by far the most terrible one...

Im on a time crunch and first thing in the morning im greeted with the trash bin at the door? Alright well that’s fine so i go to the counter and there’s not a soul taking orders for about 20 minutes they would occasionally glance at me , not servicing me which i get you know, its pretty busy at 6am. Eventually i was serviced after some wait but the workers there were arguing and one even stormed out so they clearly weren’t valuing my time and the three other workers behind me. I ordered 3 burritos and ice coffee simple right? Well my burritos came with some pretty old eggs and one of them had no sausage inside whatsoever, which im willing to let slide, but the worker who handed me my food left my iced coffee black even though its completely different on the picture? Not really how i remember it tasting or looking like. So I had to mix it myself and go to a gas station on my next exit and wasting even more time and find sugar packets and creamer because the thing was so strong and had absolutely zero sugar . And i get they were busy but atleast put some effort into my order like dont just give me old burritos that were just sitting there and not even bother to mix or put any sugar into my coffee. Ive been eating mcdonalds for decades but my past few experiences have really made it unappealing the burritos always taste old , honestly this was the last straw for me. Mcdonalds is becoming the arbys of breakfast food service. So Im moving onto bigger better things and this location was it for me, it ruined my Mchope. Don't get me wrong, the 1 lady, was by herself, and she did great.. as best as she could for a lunch rush after a 5k event nearby. Severely understaffed. We waited in line 25 minutes, waited for our food (wt 1 cook who was not in any hurry) for another 20 minutes. She apologized several times, again not her fault, she did what she could and was very sweet. The manager was working drive thru.... and yelled at someone about not selling OJ because they were out, no soft drinks as well. He finally came over to help take orders, but stood there after taking all the orders for 20 minutes, at the register and proceeded to just walk outside. No one helped the cook, nor the cashier . The were 2 other people in the back doing nothing, standing around, wiping something, the other pretended to look for something. Poor management, poor team work. I felt so sorry for the cook and cashier. The manager remained outside on his phone, I'm assuming took a break for about 30 minutes. In total, we waited in line, and for our food 45 minutes. I hit McDonald's daily at many locations from Sarasota, IRB, to Tampa and never have I had this much discouragement . I give the 2 ladies 5 🌟. The...
