After reading the review in the Lakeland Ledger, we decided to stop in for dinner. My wife ordered a Moscato (they were out of it) so she ordered a Sangria instead. I ordered a Stella Artois (the waiter told me that it was empty) I settled for a Budweiser. For an appetizer we ordered the Calamari. After bringing us our beverages, within a few moments, saw the waiter pour a Stella and give it to the pizza chef so as not to "waste" it. After eating our dinner rolls and salad, it seemed a bit long for the Calamari (over 20 minutes). I asked the waiter and he admitted he forgot to put the order in and then some excuse about deleting it on the order screen...he said he would put the order now. I told him not too bother because it would end up coming with the meal and I wanted an appetizer. The salad was fresh and good. The bread was more like a heavy sourdough..meh. My wife ordered the cheese Ravioli in Alfredo sauce. I ordered the Linguine with white clam sauce. Large portion of Linguine cooked al dente but literally 8 little neck clams in the shell, most was just shell. A tad pricey at $14.50 for a box of Linguine and 8 clams. The cheese Ravioli seemed a bit under cooked. The waiter then asked if I wanted another beer. I told him yes but Stella this time. He took the same mug which had a 1/2 inch of Budweiser in it and just poured Stella Artois on top of it! I made a comment like, "Hmmm, that should taste good." He told me that beer was on him because of the Calamari. Overall, not a great first experience. The waiter did check and asked if we were happy because I think he knew the experience was just ok. He reminded me once again that he took care of the beer because of the Calamari. Heck, even the pizza chef got a Stella in a Stella Artois glass! It's dubious whether we will go back again. The place seemed popular however. Maybe we just had...

I ordered through the online portal called Slice that they use back on March 19th 2020. When I got to the store, the lights were off and the place was closed. I tried calling the restaurant, but no one answered. I figured they were maybe closed due to the pandemic and I would just call them once everything opened back up to get my food or a refund. At the end of the day it was only $13.22.
I work in Lakeland, but live about 30 mins outside of the city. My office ended up closing and having us work remotely. Once we came back into the office in May, I had to leave and work remotely again because of a family emergency. I was in an entirely different state. This week, I returned and remembered about the pizza issue from March. I called the restaurant and they told me they didnโt even have records that far back. They told me that I would need to call Slice.
I called Slice and they saw the order I placed. Alex placed me on hold to call Romeoโs. Once he resumes my call, he tells me that Romeoโs will not be refunding me my money or making my food. He said they said they confirmed they were open that day as well as confirmed that my pizza was made. All of this is very odd seeing that they said they didnโt have records that far back.
At the end of the day, their pizza is delicious. Itโs just unfortunate that their customer service is so poor. I loved...

One of the WORST PIZZA, I ever had in my Life. I ordered a Cheese Slice Pizza with extra Toppings (PAID TOPPINGS). The Vegetables and the Mushroom were just spread raw over the Pizza Slize without cooking them.
When I pointed out that the Vegetables are not cooked in the oven rather just put Raw, the Server informed me that they cook the Toppings only in Whole Pizza and not the Slices ๐ก๐ก๐ก ๐๐๐๐.
Sir, I'm ordering Pizza and not a Sandwich or Salad๐ค๐ค.
Never would visit here again. Even the Crust was Tasteless. How do you make it without any taste? Surprising. Any food should be soulful. Put your best and positive energy into it.
Added points for giving One Star - Nice ambience to sit and drink or eat. Plenty of parking available. Located next to Publix. So grab your groceries and eat here (If you like Tasteless food).
After reading so much; if you are, please visit here as a Charity or if you have extra money and wondering how to spend it. If it's your hard earned Money, please think not twice but two hundred times. You can feel the vibrance if someone's writing so elaborately about a Slice of Pizza.
Just a humble suggestion to the Owners - Please use the service of a Chef for making food in your restaurant. If you are convinced that the Chef is preparing food here, please take out some time and put some interest in training the Chef. Thank you for...
