Wendy's — Restaurant in Lakeland

(Okay guys I need to go to the hospital I think it’s a few hours after and I do not feel too good my stomach well belly is hurt me bad like a stomach ache I can barely move ) I’m not happy at all I went to Wendy’s and order a Bacon combo #8 before leaving the parking lot I tried one of my fries that had and unbelievably nasty taste give it to the manager man and I was wanting a refund but he said they can make some fresh fries for me I was like okay because I was hungry so he made the fresh fries ( from what was told ) I tried one that was fresh and drive off from the drive-thru window into the parking to start eating my sandwich when I open the wrap it was not a bacon sandwich look to me like a #1 one sandwich and I would be okay with it if it did not have things I am allergic to and other things that I do not like on my sandwich so I went back around to the window and told “hey this not my sandwich and showed my receipt that shows what I order” they call back to get my bacon #8 Sandwich made as I’m waiting I went to try another fries I only tried another one because the first few were fresh I ended up eating a molded fry when I showed the manager he snatched the fry that had my saliva all over and it was still kinda of hold because when I tried to eat it the mold was hard and soft throughout but he smooshed it all up and said “I don’t know how it mold on it they come frozen” I was so over the whole trip and was tired and ready to leave was asking the guy for a refund(he give it back in cash) and I told him take all the food back from me I left ...

My wife and I stopped here this morning for 2 breakfast combos, 2 simple orders both with steak fries and cold brew coffee's. When I ordered at the drive thru, I asked for light ice and creamers and sweetener, and some mayo. We were the only car in the drive thru at 8am. I move up to the window after paying to pick up my order, a mere minute from when I ordered the food. They completely screwed up the order,. they gave us full ice, no creamers, no sweeteners and of course no mayo or ketchup. This is not the first time, we have had issues at this location but there was literally nobody there and they still messed it up. We went back around and said , we were missing the things we asked for and she said , No, I put them in the bag, you should look! She should've just said, sorry, here is some more, not say we are wrong.

Another reviewer said there is a older woman there who appears to be the manager, who we can also agree is rude with an attitude. We the customer, is patronizing your restaurant and she really could care less. Fortunately, I personally know the regional manager and will bring this up to them soon. She needs to be dismissed from Wendy's as she is not someone who should be representing them. Unfortunately, customer service as a whole as been decimated in recent years, while these people think they should be paid twenty dollars and hour and more for performing less...

8/19 UPDATE: Had no choice but to give them a another try because I was at Lowes and had little time left for lunch. No prob I’ll just order curbside pickup from the app and be on my way. But this location has terminated curbside pickup. Another 20 min wait in the drive through that wraps around the store. Ugh.

UPDATE: Again tonight, stopped by drive through to get kids a frosty. Spent 20 min in drive-through! Just ridiculously slow here. People in front and behind us were leaving - we would have too but kids were really looking forward to it. Getting out of line and just leaving. The fact they haven’t fixed their slowness issue is ridiculous. I will not come here for a while, even at its freshest - it STILL JUST FAST FOOD and not worth the long wait.

OLD REVIEW: It’s a shame this place is so slow, it’s newer, friendly staff, it’s clean and they’ve never gotten my order wrong, if they were as fast as their competitors they would get a lot more of my business because they make great food. But plan on at least 20 min in the drive through with normal traffic! (which is a bit ridiculous for any fast food restaurant). I’ve been here at least 5 times and it’s just as...
