My wife and I stopped by this evening for some food. We are the two combos when was a salad my wife who is diabetic and the other was a hamburger combo for myself. I specifically asked for zero sugar lemonade for my wife who can't have sugar at all. When I got up to the drive-thru and made sure that they heard it was zero sugar and the woman said yes it is. My wife tasted it and said no this is regular and said I'm sorry but this is regular not zero I can't have sugar, the woman replied says it is zero no sugar I just poured it out of the fountain. So we left My wife had about a quarter of it I realized the person was incorrect. Went back to the restaurant and explain that we asked for zero twice and the girl said it was zero and in fact it's regular. And for someone as diabetic they cannot have sugar for a reason and the woman that says is it lemonade? Then what's the difference.
This is the kind of response You get from a a well-known fast food restaurant. This employee put my wife at risk for her carelessness. Internet insultant injury just wouldn't make another one to be sure My wife drinks this all the time She knows what it taste like. If you are diabetic and order a sugar free beverage from this Wendy's on route 98, make sure either you see them pour it out of the correct dispenser or you do it yourself, because they don't care about your health or well-being
An email will be going out to the district manager and I will speak to my attorney to see what legal ramifications are in order for this incident.
These workers need to be held accountable for their actions. She should have just said I will pour it and make sure it was the correct beverage instead of fighting with us. Meanwhile they are demanding $30 an hour to do...
Read moreJust waited 20 minutes in line at the drive through Bc there was a car in front of us and behind us and a broken down car beside us so we couldn't leave. As it turns out the speaker is broken and can't sense Large trucks or vehicles. And it's been doing this all day, according to the cashier, yet there was no sign or warning! We were trying to make it to Publix before they closed and that didn't happen. We got no apology, nothing. I asked if the speaker had been having problems all day why hadn't they put a sign up. The cashier blatantly rolled her eyes at me and replied, "I don't know." Horrible customer service, no straws or napkins either. They also tried to make us wait for spicy nuggets, you know because the 20 minute wait wasn't long enough. Thanks but no thanks! Their customer service is like their apology to us,...
Read moreHonestly and truly- use the gas and drive to another Wendy’s. I have lived near this Wendy’s for 2 years, and consistently- if you order more than 3 things THEY WILL FORGET ONE OF THEM. I’m not the type to stop and spend 5 mins checking my bag for every single thing in the window because I respect drive times for the restaurant. Not for this place. I honestly just won’t come back and wanted to come on here and warn everyone else. Not only do they forget everything, they catch a horrible attitude when you call and ask them to finish the order you already paid for. This isn’t Wendy’s standard. This is a crappy drive through impersonating a Wendy’s. They forget something EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Just drive somewhere else. In this economy, I don’t like wasting $5-$10 each trip on food...
